A fully-functional, non-commercial remake of Splatoon developed by fans, by fans. Unlike Paint Chips, people actually play it.
It's existed since 2015 as a self-described demake of Splatoon, but in 2022, Nintendo tried to DMCA it (it was totally putting them out of business, guys). All the author had to do was rename the game, tweak the maps and replace the squids with sea slugs, then the company couldn't do shit, since they don't "own" any of the actual gameplay mechanics. Think Freedoom or Unciv.
Roblox is a crappy engine, which makes this even more impressive, and I can play it on my tablet.
The custom music I play in the background (all by Toru Minegishi) is:
