Wow! I remember riding this many times. I recall it breaking down often and people getting stuck upside down! 😂
It broke down while I rode it once back in 2014 i think- thankfully I did not get stuck upside down but we were up there for over 15 minutes
15mins! Lucky you weren’t upside down! How did you get down?
@@TheWanderers99 we had to wait for maintenance to arrive. The position we were stuck was the basic horizontal forward facing position where it just tilts back and forth a bit. If I remember correctly I think they were able to get the ride secured and put it in the stopped position allowing us all to walk off the exit normally. The only scary part was the other kids on the ride who were screaming out and exclaiming how we were all going to die lol
lol yeah those screams wouldn’t have helped 😂. Oh well, sounds like it made for a memorable experience. Thanks for sharing ☺️
um...
It was manufactured by Dutch manufacture, Vekoma
Cool, I had forgotten that! Do you know if there are any others still in operation?
@@TheWanderers99After doing some research the only ride variant in operation is in Uzbekistan but that might be closing soon, they are just so unreliable and so expensive to repair once they are old because you have to order special parts from Germany.
@ nice detective work! Yes I recall this one was also very unreliable also and become uneconomical or too hard to keep in operation. It’s a shame as it was a fun ride!
