Great find i use to operate and be a host for this attraction when i worked at the park.I was there when they pulled it down.Sad day that was.I have some other footage of dreamworld around 1987-89 on my channel.enjoy.
Thank you sooo much for recording and sharing this! It's so wrong they got rid of this show, and replaced it with what? Basically nothing. What a waste.
Thanks so much for the upload. I remember this when I was 6 and 7 we lived on the gold coast and this was my favourite!!! I used to watch this show over and over again as we had annual passes. I have been looking for this! Oh the nostalgia!!
I’m from the United Kingdom and only know about this song thanks to DefunctLand’s video on Dreamworld’s Wiggles ride! While I do still find this attraction to be an interesting curiosity, knowing MANY of the featured songs are Rolf Harris ones is VERY unsettling! At least Need for Speed Underground is a game you can still enjoy as long as you remember to turn off its Lostprophets song before going back underground, but to revive an attraction like this now… did they change any of the songs later on?
I wonder if there are any videos about the history of this attraction and how it worked. Obviously, this was the Australian equivalent of Disney's Country Bear Jamboree. Did the small stages rotate like the ones on the Country Bears did?
This is the tape that was used from 1987 to 2002. At the show's opening in 1982, a different showtape was used. In the 1982 tape, the characters cosmetics were different, there were no backdrops (except for the center stage), and of course, the characters sang different songs. There are only 2 footages of it, and both of them are incomplete. Here are the 2 (incomplete) footages of the 80s tape: ruclips.net/video/7ZXYf8yhM3c/видео.htmlsi=L0UUXFSZu7yCtVmU ruclips.net/video/CN-6YwKL_Dc/видео.htmlsi=Id6a_gPoTJmRIljD
i did the voice song of theres a built in trouble in every man. i have the original raw recording. i'm trying to find my piece of video recording but haven't been successful
I love that in addition to spoofing the Country Bear Jamboree, the last bit also directly rips off the Enchanted Tiki Room 😅
This is beautiful. I miss when Dreamworld celebrated Australian Culture and Heritage. Sadly it doesn’t anymore
It’s going back to its roots now with the abc kids world being demolished (😢), for a new themed area called Rivertown!
Koala Country show has been stored in a museum I think some where idk where
Not gonna lie, that part with the kangaroo and her baby is genuinely precious
Yes. That’s my favorite part. Then the bunny
I literally lost it when the baby said "Night night mummy" 😢
What a lovely little show!
Those songs from koala country show gum tree gully hall from dream world in 1990 arethe best songs ever.

They replaced the animatronic.
Wait A Minute Is That The Country Bear Jamboree Stage.
I agree hopefully someone buys dreamworld and restores some of old rides and attractions
Didn’t they replace it with the big red car ride? I know it’s not exciting, but it’s still my childhood, and I’m sad to see it gone
This brings back so many memories and really miss it
The end of that is a reference to the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Id love to know who did all the voices. Its so aussie. Love it
Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this. Such special memories
thanks so much for putting this up David
Regardless of what happened with wiggles world, this show wouldn't be around anymore. More than half of the numbers in it were by Rolf Harris.
Ever heard of separation of art and artist
@@MasamuneNoirFilms I have, but many haven't.
Rolf Harris was a fucking legend.
