    Do you also consider the Bhava cusps in the Vargas when assessing the dashas? Thank you for all the wonderful teachings, Ryan. Greetings from Lisbon, Portugal.

    Ryan, I am wondering in what sequence house lords and nakshatras would be activated for certain planetary dashes. For example, since Mars rules both Scorpio and Aries, which house would be activated first? Does it depend on antardashas and transits? Also let's say a nakshatra is ruled by Mars in that chart, when would that be activated?

      Just to clarify, I mean in a Mars mahadasha for example.

    Why is mercury in an enemy sign in Aquarius, when Saturn, the ruler of Aquarius is mercury's friend?

      @@RyansVedicAstrology If I understand correctly, Mercury is in an enemy sign because it's in the 4th house, and the 4th house natural ruler is the Moon? Or is it because Mercury rules the 8th & 11th house in this chart that it's in bad dignity?

    • @RheaRah

      After consideration, is it because Mercury is 7 houses away from Saturn, making them temporary enemies?

    Transits to be seen with respect to only the birth chart or can we see it in context of divisional chart also...

    • @RyansVedicAstrology
      @RyansVedicAstrology  10 лет назад

      Only the birth chart. Only the birth chart is the true map of the sky when born. The vargas are extrapolations. Now you might experiences triggers in the vargas based on planets transiting in the birth chart, because if they are in the placement in the birth chart it will also be reflected in a varga. See my Navamsha and Dasamsha course on ashevillevedicastrology.com for better understanding of this.

    Won't Raj Yogas help planets in a bad dignities, Like Neecha-Bhanga? Or does the challenge that that planet face the same condition as a planet without NB during a transit?

      Neecha Bhanga is too simplistic of an idea, and I stopped using it about 4 years ago. To figure out a planets strength requires a look at Shadbala, and vargas, and how the yoga producing planets are affecting each other.
