this guys comedy is hilarious. but i like his interviews even better. when he's just makin it up at the top of his head..... "i dont know what im making up, and whats really happening"
@@sheilamacdougal4874 If people don't get it, then that's fine. My mom loved it and my dad didn't get it. It's all a matter of perspective, but for those who understood him and got it, he was one of the funniest. Comedy is subjective. Although I respect your opinion, I disagree with it. Look at Mitch Hedberg. He was similar to Wright but I bet you didn't think he was funny either. Mitch was one of greatest stand ups as well. To each his or her own.
@@sheilamacdougal4874 Comedy is all about related to and getting it. If you don't get it, you don't like it. There are comedians who people find funny that I don't get, therefore don't like. Funny is a matter of taste. It's not always about the material... it's about the delivery as well. It's like Tom Green, many don't like him, but those who get him do. Pretty simple really.
everytime Steven Wright is on Letterman, they play the same song....I like it
Steely dan!
song is Reelin' in the Years by Steely Dan
Thanks.

"A bird in the hand is worth two in a bush" - I didn't see any price tags.
Steven's hilarious- good video
genius
I'm a peripheral visionary, I can see into the future just way off to the side.
Its weird how he actually starts to laugh a couple times
Baked trippin which one???😵💫
Tough crowd
That starts happening when you are too funny for your own good.
total win
@ItsDuckSandwichFilms I think its Steely Dan sounds like em.
omg the audience is lame...
He was one of the hottest comedians in the late 80s, but then his career cooled off...
Never really thought much of the airplane joke. Too ridiculous.
Its not a joke.
That actually happened to him.
Yeah, one of the few recurring jokes of his that doesn’t do it for me
Ok
He's not underrated. He's underfunny.
He's one of the funniest and most unique comedians off all-time!
@@gsadventures678 I agree he's unique. Most comedians are at least somewhat funny.

@@gsadventures678 It's not about "getting it". We who don't find it particularly funny get the "jokes" all too well.
