Got to see him live twice both were incredible. Once at the keswick and once at the sands. Hundreds of jokes non stop you only catch like half of them because you're busy laughing
I was lucky enough to catch Steven Wright in Cambridge, Massachusetts before he became famous. He was so amazing - never to be forgotten. His (local) political comedy was amazing. I also remember him doing an imitation of a fly! Incredible.
Before I was born, my grandfather got to see Steven Wright in person in 2004. He was laughing so hard, my dad said he was getting mad so he was mocking him, which made him laugh even harder. Unfortunate my grandfather passed so I didn’t get to hear his view of the story as my dad told me this today.
The roads on maps are too wide. If they were actually that wide traffic would collide with the roadside houses, resulting in considerable loss of life.
My favored one is about moving into the new house and turning the light switch he didn't know where it went to. He would turn it on and off ,for a year he did this. Finally one day a lady called and told him to knock it off!
I love his delivery, he always looks and sounds like he’s being forced to say all this against his will
Man this guy would be good at Twitter
He in fact has a Twitter lol
Katt William
U GUI
The man would have destroyed Twitter!!😂😂
One of my favorites is still: "Why don't they build the whole plane out of that black box stuff?"

Audience: *silence*
Me: dying with laughter.
One of my favorites is still: "So... what's the speed of dark?"
“I bought some powdered water but I don’t know what to add,” is one of the funniest one liners ever
Agreed. I'll bet that a whole chunk of his fans got hooked by that joke. I know it worked for me.
Totally agree. Not as funny, but the "it's a small world, but I wouldnt want to paint it," is also a perfect Lynch-ian line
I've just spat my drink all over the floor. that is absolutely hilarious!
Steven Wright One of the Best!!
"Some people are afraid of heights. I'm afraid of widths."

Can you imagine being as boring as them?
Neither can I!
Yep losers!
His jokes kinda remind me of Mitch Hedberg.
Mitch reminds most people of Steven. I love them both.
Mitch was definitely influenced by him
Both geniuses in their own right

This is fun just watching his hairline recede.
Yeah, this is going to be a unpopular opinion but I am not impressed by this and I enjoy deadpan comedy. Sorry
Cool
It seems like a “you had to be there” type thing
Well we can't all have a sense of humour.
Everyone to their own. Honest opinion. Comedy can be funny sometimes!
