    • @Osprey1994
      @Osprey1994 3 месяца назад +5

      How is M&P 2.0 a slept on platform? It's a common gun at competitions, and it's a common gun on the range in general. Additionally, it's one of the most common pistols in LE alongside Glock and Sig.

    • @CrashRacknShoot
      @CrashRacknShoot 3 месяца назад +5

      @@Osprey1994people do buy them, yes. It does seem weird though that nobody talks about them on a day to day outside of list videos like they do Glocks or whatever the new hotness is. I think it comes from a boringly high level of reliability. Nobody ever has drama with them, so it has become so understood that they're excellent, almost outside of being in a conversation with other comparable guns in a group gun nerd setting. Because of that, it seems nobody feels the need to talk about them.

    • @PointBlank65
      @PointBlank65 3 месяца назад +1

      @CrashRacknShoot 3 месяца назад

      @@PointBlank65 true. Also is fine by me. There's nothing wrong with building guns. Been there, done it, still have fun with it. However, I do believe a firearm you truly trust your life to should be dead reliable out of the box and should remain stock, at least stock internals/functional components. Both Glocks and M&Ps have that reliability, and M&P, in a way, keeps the discipline alive to not fuck with it for the reasons you mentioned.

    I’ve got 2 M&P 9s and I really enjoy these pistols. Two years ago I got the PDP and PDF, love both of these. The PDP is my go to gun. I have about 15000 rds in this pistol and it has performed flawlessly. PDF is just great as well. I also have the Echelon and it’s one I shoot several times a week and I’d buy it again. Lastly and surprised me how well it shoots is the Sig P320 X Compact. I’m surprised how well I can hit with this small but chunky gun. I’d say right now it’s tied even with my PDP. I’m looking for the 4.7” 320 right now.
    Thank you! Great reviews.

    Hard to beat the SIG Macro, but I went with the Springfield Hellcat Pro mainly due to price. Picked up the Pro with the 17 round gear up package with 5 mags and a range case. But I still want the Macro. Damn, so many guns so little money.

    My go-to is the Sig P365 series. Whether it's the X, XL, or X Macro, the modularity and aftermarket options are great and it is a great do-all choice. As for the grip texture, the Wilson Combat grip is an affordable option and more aggressive than the stock Sig or you can go for another aftermarket option in metal like the Icarus Precision grips.

    I have four Springfield XDM models and they all shoot great, they are accurate and have been 100% reliable. HS Products makes great guns. Right now my edc alternates between my XDM Elite 3.8 9mm with Green Dot and a CZ P07 in .40, both are great carry options. I added Talon grip to both, the smoother version with a strip of the rough on the front and backstrap.

    As far as a favorite goes, from your picks, I really like the P365 because of the modularity and ability to go from a 10 round pocket pistol to a sub compact with 17 rounds. Shalotec has outdone the competitors with the modularity capabilities. Honestly I'm still on the fence about getting a new grip module/frame or leaving it as is with the Sharps Bro's and VZ Operator 2 grips. On another note, Shadow Systems is doing something that no other manufacturers are doing when it comes to a carry gun. I'm super intrigued and would love to get my hands on a full size and conceal Shadow Systems.

    I've only owned 3 pistols; a Gen 3 G22, a P80c, and a CZ P10c.
    I carried my P80 for about 5 years but since Colorado is going full California they're currently "illegal" so I bought the CZ last October and it is everything the CZ "hipsters" say it is. In the past I would sometimes have to fish for the dot when dry firing but now it's just always there.
    I'm not going to steal Paul Harrell's thunder and say "this gun fits my hand better than this one"...but it does.
    If I could change one thing it would be adding a QR code inside the box for a free optic plate of your chosen footprint. Not a deal breaker (obviously) but it would be a nice addition.
