  • If you remember ANYTHING from your high school biology class, it’s probably that “the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.”
These little energy hubs produce the ATP that is vital for maintaining your body’s chemical balance, and so changes to their condition can have wide effects on your health.
In this video we review the necessary nutrients for mitochondrial function, factors associated with mitochondrial damage, how to assess your mitochondrial health, and what YOU can do to support your mitochondrial health.

Just a tip for future videos, you may want to consider that much of your lingo is “doctor talk” and too complicated for regular people to understand. Plus you speak really fast. I’m sure your info is great and you seem incredibly intelligent, but I think you should try relaying it in a way that people who aren’t doctors can understand. Maybe have clear points rather than a long list of scientific processes and terminology that we have no clue about. You’ll say things and then follow up with “right?!” And I’m like well I have no idea because I’m not a doctor. Anyway, I’m not trying to offend, I’m just trying to ask for easier to understand concepts.

Thanks for watching! I’m sorry it was too fast. I use the settings in the bottom corner to speed things up, but they also can be used to slow it down for fast speakers like me :). Hope that helps!
