  • When I have patients coming into my office with symptoms of metabolic problems, low energy, and low libido, the culprit is often low testosterone. However, our treatment strategy depends heavily on where the patient is in life and we don’t always want to jump into hormone replacement treatments for younger women.
So if your testosterone levels are in the tank… what can you do?
Today we’re diving into some of my favorite NATURAL strategies for boosting testosterone levels. Simple changes in your diet, sun exposure, sleep, and more can help bring your hormone levels back into balance and keep you feeling your best

Thank you! the range of "normal" for women is much lower. I knew something was wrong at 18 for total!

Would red light work (instead of sunlight)? I live in a cold state. AH

Red light is good for mitochondrial function and helping with cellular energy production. That said, I wouldn’t say it’s a great replacement for sunlight. There are full spectrum light panels that work as a replacement. They are often used in seasonal affective disorder.
