He also has a pressure point at the base of his mane to pet him and he purrs. So 3 total, tongue, belly, back. I have an original from when I was 8, grey stripes, white belly and mane, pink ears.
I actually loved my Furby. When my mom got my sister a purple/blue one and she named it Lulu- I was so convinced I HAD to have one. I was persistent and got what I wanted. Mine was pink and yellow and I named it Coco. I loved mine 💛🩷
Oh wow, I've not actually seen one of the original ones like this! Most of the others that I've seen have the mane instead of the headfluff and tail :) Looks like his motor is running back to front, he's closing his mouth whenever he speaks xD

Or clap 3 times, pet back, once he starts singing twinkle twinkle then simultaneously rub belly and pet back for sleep mode.. think that's how it went.. but for sure pet back 20 times and it'll go into a sleep mode. When he does you can tell b/c he'll make a sound that sounds like he's winding down.
I have one just like yours - he was my first, but his voice box broke so I performed surgery on him and took out his voice box... he's a mute now.. but I love him still. :)
actually its possible. the furby stores power inside of it with one big battery, so the batteries would last longer. one time a heard a really quiet buzzing noise from my grey furby with the battery door open. it lasted like 5 seconds, and I heard it better when I put my ear to the speaker.

I'm not too sure, since i am not an expert i just got this info from looking at Ebay, i recommend searching your Furby's on Ebay, then you can see the average price and work from there. For your special edition you can either do just that or go on some sites like Wikipedia to get more info. Even if you have put them in a time capsule you can still google them to see what they are worth, It may surprise you ^-^

Removed & put batteries back in, but it said Furby go to sleep, AGAIN & that was that. My little dog was fascinated with it, so am really trying to get it to work - LOL!? Was hoping you'd come up with something that would make it wake UP!!
I know this is an old comment, but there’s usually a reset button on the plate on the bottom, or i heard if you tilt it upside down and hold your finger on its tongue for some time it wakes up.
