Second Coming wasn't that bad. It was a style shift, not as good as their first album, but features some good songwriting and some of John Squires best guitar work. Going South- need I say more? I probably do. But I not gonna.
Never understood why so many people slag off The Second Coming. The full 11 minute version of Breaking into Heaven is a cracking track. Sadly most people only get to hear the cut down version.
Shoomer1988 - I LOVE Second Coming, some of their best songs are on that album (however, it’s true that it’s nowhere near as close of a complete album that is their self-titled debut)
Unlike the debit, there are a couple of the songs that are skippable, but so many of the songs are firmly on the same level as all the classics. Critics didn't like it at the time because they waited five years for something which turned out to be so largely different to their signature sound and that has unfairly followed the album's reputation for nearly three decades.
@@gigaatom Exactly that scene haunted me as a kid as well and is pretty much the only reason why it's the only one of the Cornetto trilogy that makes me squirmish to this day. Granted, the impalement scenes in Hot Fuzz were pretty gory as well, but somehow due to their set-up a whole lot more cartoonish than the disembowelment in Shaun of the Dead.
I thought I was just being a lame ass but I'm glad I wasn't the only one terrified of this movie 💀 it did help me get over my fear of zombies as a child since the movie was so funny but that David scene really did a number on me lol

I never liked Zombieland. I think the problem was that the movie had been overhyped. I liked the idea behind it, and it can have been a good movie. It just wasn't, in my 'umble opinion.
