I put one of these in my motorhome with the single zone Dometic Penguin 2 air conditioner. Although it does everything described in the video, it does, however, create so much interference to my over-the-air TV and FM radio reception that I had to take it out. Micro-Air is aware of the situation but has no immediate solution. Very disappointing. We did try another unit that is supposed to be the latest version. Same problem.

Which thermostat model has the set screw or push to connect style connections for a single zone unit? Thanks!

I have a 2014. Tiffin 31SA, two ACs. Can I install two systems or would it be better to just install one ?
Hi Daniel. It all depends on your system. If you have a system with mulitple zones that currently controls both ACs then one thermostat will suffice. If you have seperate thermostats in your rig now then muliple news ones may be required. Looking to replace my OEM thermostat in a Grand Design RV. Will this still give me outside temp like yours did in the video?

Do you know of a way this can still notify of a power loss if wifi goes down with shore power also?
Will this work with Cheap Heat installed?
Cheap heat replaces your propane heater so the thermostat would still start it as if it was a furnace so should work great. Hope that helps. Safe Travels

We have had the Micro Air EasyTouch_RV for about 6 months now. Although we like it, the touch panel is small and can be hard to navigate if you have fat fingers. lol I have it installed on my iPad and our phones. Things to note. It will not connect to multiple devices at the same time. By the way, thank you for the heat pump install video. I installed that yesterday and it was basically plug and play. Just had to match the dip switches. We also watched your video on the Superstition Mountains last night. That was awesome. We were grew up in southern AZ and miss it a lot.

I might have missed it in video but how does this work or does it work if you are in a campground with no WiFi and are away from RV
If you are close to the RV then it will work via Bluetooth but you are correct, if your thermostat is not connected to Wi-Fi then you won't be able to access it from the WWW. Hope that helps. Safe Travels

Hi, I know this is an older video but I have 2 AC units on a Coleman thermostat. I am getting a 3rd AC unit installed shortly. Should I just wait until I get the 3rd installed before getting this micro air or can I just install in because the RV is already pre-wired with the 3rd AC?
Hi Jay. If you have a single thermostat that works all three ACs then you could go ahead and buy it now. The thermostat will recognize the third zone once its brought online. Just a quick question. I am interested in using this for our 5th wheel bedroom ac unit. Yours appears to be multi area..the other ac unit is a dometic. Can this be used for the bedroom ac unit which is a coleman mach and also be used to replace our dometic one as well.

Hey there. You would need 2 sepwrate thermostats. The dometics talk to each otherso the particular model qe have will control our multi zones.
When you unplugged the ccc2 thermostat and plugged in the new one, was there anything you had to program to get the new thermostat to work your zones? I have 2 zones. So is this just plug and play?
