yesterday I was listening to both bands and it came to mind what a duet between the two would be like, so today I'm going to search for videos of my favorite band, TK and I come across this wonderful video, thank you and greetings from a fan of The killers and Pearl Jam.
Awesome Tom Petty blessed Eddie to continue on Eddies a beast and brings that iconic tune to another respecful level Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Absolute Legends God Bless
I picked up The Killers as my favorite band after Tom Petty passed away. Before that, I was lucky enough to see Vedder and Petty do The Waiting together in concert in Milwaukee. Just seeing Flowers and Vedder do this brings tears to my eyes. Miss you, Tom!! Thanks to groups like the Killers for keeping Petty’s music playing live.
In the 90's I didn't like Tom Petty because there was such limited media outlets/radiostations/tv for music, the youth culture needed more sources, but Tom Petty did make a lot of great music.
@jeffjames7894 agreed. The OC was absolute nonsense. Tom Petty ruled the 90s with arguably his best album, Wildflowers. Tom was all over the radio, MTV, SNL, you name it.
@@brettcooper3893 No it isn't nonsense if you were a teen. Petty was in his late 40's getting airplay on hard rock radio. They preferred to play petty over many edgier bands in their 20s. Revisionism is nonsense.
Epic performance! Tom looking down all smiles 😎

I saw Tom Petty in concert 3 times from 1999 to 2002 and he is the only live musician that i liked better than Phish.
When you dont have to put this through your manager you just go up to the stage cause this other band asked you to.

Ha ha Eddie Vedder singing Tom Petty when his voice is about 2 octaves lower.
Check out Eddie 2006 when he sings it with TB and the HB.
