They all seemed so stunned...Like a legend from another time was unearthed from the great beyond for this performance. Look at all their faces, Frank & Nancy Sinatra, Brett Buttler, Gregory Peck.
Just the expression on Frank's face says it all. It's like the song just opened up something in Frank that he may not know it's there. Oh wow, Gregory Peck, these are guys who've lived through so much and now in awe of this one 'un.
No, this is how Bob sang at that time. It was consistent with other songs from that era. Bob could do more with less, vocally, than anyone alive....this was part of his genius as a musician.
He left out my favorite verse of this song. How odd because it was the one about it not for me to stand naked in under unknowing eyes. Wha? Was he afraid that would offend all the big wigs in the audience? Was he afraid they would think he was accusing them of being the ones with unknowing eyes? Why pick this song to sing and leave out the most memorable verse? Was this a sly dig at them after all that only a fan would get? Often what is not said that is most significant❤ ❤❤
How appropriate....two truly unique interpretators of American music....one singing, one listening....they are personally my own two favorites.

Seeing above performance for the first time was without question one of the highlights of the year for me.

Music's Poet Laureate honors the Voice of The Century.

Read that The Chairman himself requested Bob Dylan and this song. Truth or Legend, who knows. Amazingly appropriate. ❤
Dylan's only played it live three times, this being one of them. So that tracks.
Oh Bob...💖
Oh Bob, from where do you come from?
Also Halbis cooler Abspann hat mich maßlos beeindruckt - und dann die Drohnenperspektive als I-tüpfelchen: Wahnsinn 😎👍🏻
How wonderful is these?
Bob Dylan is not from this Planet...🙏🎆🔮🧿
I thought I was the only one who noticed.
Wow! ❤
Is it just me or does Bob seem to be doing an extra good job vocally, probably because of how much he respects Sinatra?

Exactly. That look in his eyes towards the end.
