you know what made me realise what video this is? it wasn't the completely different voices, or the date or the opening bit or even "take 70". it was that the theory started a mere 4 minutes into the video which is impossible quick for yall
Oh no, the one thing we forgot to plan for
A fatal flaw in our impersonation XD
I know what Michael Talks about Stuff looks like. The idea of that guy with long hair and handlebar Mustache training an army of Racoons makes me hot and bothered.
Are we sure Theon wasn’t saying he was a “Word of Winterfell”, attempting to jumpstart his burgeoning rap career?
Great stuff from @michaeltalksaboutstuff and @randominternetguy , one of the best theory videos you’ve done, but it didn’t go in the direction I thought it might, in terms of theories about Theon Greyjoy himself. I’ve come to believe it is far more likely that Theon is either a Stark bastard or a true born Stark of a secret marriage, than a Greyjoy. Elements of my theory being: 1. Theon is a House Stark name, not a Greyjoy name and it seems to make little sense that the squisher descended Greyjoys would give the youngest son of their House a Wolf/Stark name and then he by chance ends up their hostage. 2. The Greyjoy rebellion is never fully explained in the books, and the way Theon remembers the end of it, seems to me to suggest the purpose of the invasion of the Iron Islands was likely to rescue Theon, who Baylon Greyjoy had planned to use in an invasion of the North, the plot being to reveal that Theon was really the heir to Winterfell either as the true born son of Ned and Ashara Dayne (remember we keep hearing stories of Ned traveling with various babies) OR possibly Brandon Stark fathered either as a bastard or a secret wedding Stark. Baylon Greyjoy would then have used Theon to legitimize his planned takeover of the North and to deal with the “there must always be a Stark in Winterfell” problem that probably has to do with the Others. 3. Some evidence for my theory includes how Theon is treated when he returns to the Iron Islands, we’re led to believe this is all because he was raised by the Starks, but doesn’t it seem like WAY overkill for Baylon to have no interest in his only surviving male heir, and what does Baylon do with his last son? He immediately launches him in an attempt to seize territory in mainland Westeros. Wasn’t the point of him as a hostage that Baylon should care about his death? No evidence of that. 4. Why go to all the trouble of rescuing Theon but never reveal his true origin? Because of the “there must always be a Stark in Winterfell” thing again, Ned knew he might need Theon and Robert owed Ned. This would make me think Theon is true born, because maybe that matters in some way, but Ned would know that Theon was either his true heir or even his brother Brandon’s, which might matter to the magic of the Starks in Winterfell. This part of the theory partially rests on Ned either knowing or strongly suspecting that Rob Stark isn’t his son, and is likely either Brandon or Piotr Baylish’s son. OR Ned knows his children with Ashara Dayne (including his daughter Val) are true born while his children with Catelyn are bastards unless Ashara is dead, which maybe she is or possibly not and maybe he doesn’t know. Look at how the Winterfell maester and Sir Roderick talk to Bran about how he might be the lord of Winterfell some day etc, seems like a weird thing to say to a second son, unless they already knew Rob was likely illegitimate, which both of them would probably be in a position to know that. Also Rob being illegitimate would be the true source of Catelyn’s hatred of Jon Snow, her knowing that Ned may have chosen to bring Jon to Winterfell precisely because he knew Rob wasn’t his son. 5. Castrating Theon becomes more important if he’s a Stark. It’s possible he’d have “kings blood” anyway as a Greyjoy, but with the way leadership can change on the Iron Islands I think muddies those waters, maybe, but as a Stark he’s got that magic blood. And if you consider that Bran is unable to have children, probably, it could be the Bolton’s know Theon is really a Stark and want to end their line, possibly for magical reasons. 6. The Dire Wolf Greywind, crucially named BY Theon NOT Rob, is our first big clue Theon is really a Stark and that wolf was meant for him. Also, speaking of names, it would be interesting if both of the Piotr Baylish bastards fathered on the Tully girls were named Robert, although maybe Brandon is Rob’s father and Sweet Robin is Piotr’s failed attempt to replicate that insult against his love for Catelyn. Something is going on with both Tully mother’s sons being Roberts though.
"Bran is like Stalin" is wild
Stalin Bran leading soviet westeros is maybe my favorite single theory ever.
I think Zac was just Stalin for time since the run time was a little low
Theon’s pingus is lightbringer
What incredible sentences this fandom makes us say
Tom has a real bad head cold
I've been trying to get over it for DAYS
Strong Bellwas: not your average baratheon
Hell yes!
15:28 THIS ZAC IS A FAKE!!!!! REAL Zac puts his laptop on his chest!!!!!!!!
Hmmm... And Tom draws straighter lines than those... I'm starting to think they may both be fakes!!
I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ZAC JUST HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY AND SO COULD NOT HAVE THE LAPTOP ON HIS CHEST
Y’all’s voices sound a bit different. Hope you get over y’all’s colds!
If Theon is a Baratheon Bastard then he would have kings blood too.
Love your show, but I must say when it’s really you. The show is more captivating.
Keep these great theories coming, I’m always looking forward to avideo from you
Oh great, we're on a bunch of other channels this week!!
7:15 Does this connect with Rosebud Frozen Peas’s country goodness and green pea-ness?
I cant tell if this is more of an Easter video with Theon = Christ symbolism or an April Fool's Video without Tom and Zac
This is obviously an Easter video, as it does contain Tom and Zac. We say it so many times.
2 Tom, 2 Zach
15:05 was when i knew. tom would never give up the the fact that a theory was a pun before it was finished
Theon has no manhood, but he has a hooded man !
love it
I knew what was up immediately, but I will point out it's before midnight for me. Do I have to come back later?
13:40 anyone know if he won a darwin award for that
1:00 the raccoons are going to be flirting
Okay so we need to assume it's a sign countersign thing and the muscrats will be balmy.
“Here comes the dragon”
Theon is kraken he is water he is salt, water, salt and drink. Kraken saltwater
Born of salt and smoke??
@@InterestingNerdClub ah iron islands lot of smoke for smelting the iron
@@InterestingNerdClub you alao smoke, squids and you smoke cod to last years
These guys sound different today.. anyone else notice that?
Zac breaking canon in this video. Everybody knows Zac only watched through season 5 and jumped back in right at the very end so they could fully experience the train wreck. There’s no way Zac would’ve fallen asleep during the Long Night episode. Boy I really hope someone got fired for that blunder
Take 70 of 270
That’d make him a weirward tree, right?
3:35. Blood Raven is Anton Chigur. Calling it now!
Would this make Tywin our Daniel Plainview?
36:18 but what if rather than feeding Theon breed you feed him weirwoods food of blood and that is why you have blood sacrifice
7:26 theon confirmed not to be the hooded man
This sentence is a glorious nightmare
#confirmed
Oh no
OH YEAH
Theon DOES try to Ward (protect) the people of Winterfell, thinking "I am your only defense against people like him(Reek)."
This is too funny
22:59 Theon will be turned into another what?
Why would Tom need to pay for his neighbor’s new table, he has a team of trained raccoons just have them steal enough money to pay it off.
They went out and stole a new table this morning.
