- The NEW Audi S6 is here and there are some changes that have been made to increase performance. Under the hood is a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 that is pated with an electric supercharger to produce 444 HP & mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. Its exterior has bold muscular lines with 21in wheels. On the inside you will find a beautiful interior and Audi's outstanding virtual cockpit. BMW and Mercedes having nothing over Audi when it comes to design inside and out. Audi's are attractive yet conservative in their styling, they look expensive, feel expensive, look aggressive, sporty, luxurious, and classy. This is one gorgeous vehicle. WOW!

Do like I did with my current one. Go to the dealership and find one that’s been leased for two to theee years and get on the list for it. It’ll be about 40-45K but you know all service wash done by Audi

This car is not going to be 35k in 3 years unless it has 70k miles on it. And than your 5 year warranty is going to cost you another 4 grand so good luck.
Exactly what I've done with my last 3 Audi's. Bought them at 2-3 years old (CPO if possible) and added an extra warranty. The S6 is all the car the S7 is, but with lower demand and corresponding price tag. Definitely on my radar :-)

I love this car. However, my only "zonk" is the gloss black as you mentioned in the video, but if Audi gave us the option to extend that matte wood finish to both sides of the screen, I think this would be a perfect sedan in my opinion. If I bought this sedan, the first thing I would do is is get a ppf on the gloss black trim to protect it.

Your review of the S6 is spot on. Audi vehicles generally offer tremendous value compared to the other German brands. I like the crisp, angular styling of the S6 and the cutting edge interior. I have an A8 and a Q7 and both are great cars.

Back in the early 90s, after the Fiero fiasco, Pontiac blamed its failure on Americans not wanting roadsters anymore, not on anything they did. The same year, Mazda introduced the Miata. 'Nuff said.
Sedans are far from dead. Sport backs like the A7 kind of saved them, but traditional sedans are going to still be bought.

Scores Man My pickup truck has both of these options and guess what? They both suck. Manufacturers throw these options on their vehicles and say lookee, lookee, suckers. Without proper engineering and planning the stuff works half ass and breaks, leaving one with super expensive repair bills outside of the manufactures warranty.
Quality before quantity. Audi gets it and so do most of their customers and I appreciate and applaud them for that. I’d much rather drive my wife’s 2017 S6 with a standard sized sunroof and non-ventilated seats over my “fancy” truck with those aforementioned options any day. Of course it’s not fair to compare those 2 as far as driving pleasure is concerned but you get my drift.
For the record, Audi does offer ventilated seats if you check the luxury seating package but then you lose the sporty seats with additional bolstering as shown on this particular vehicle.
Ok all cars do the exact same thing take you from point A to point B. You buy a luxury car as a statement to show off that you can 😒

I'm not beating up on GM/Cadillac, but I will say this is the total package high end performance vehicle that GM should be building. This machine is uber classy, handsome and it has
presence. I haven't seen an S6 on the road but I have seen a 2020 A6 in white that was just stunning.

To be real, if you take a 3.0 supercharged A6 from previous years for way less and add a $1000 tune, you now have the same power a new s6 has. The V8 may not have had as much torque but at least it had the mean sound. I’m biased though as an A6 owner that wishes it sounded better. They all look so great though

I have 2018 Audi S6. The S6 he showed was a bad example. He is presenting the S6 w/o the sports package so it doesn’t have those signature red calipers, nor the sports exhaust. It didn’t have black optics either. He is showing a stock model.... even if it did have sports package, it’ll never sound as good as the V8 model..

Just from the video alone you can tell the throttle response is like 2 days behind lol
The S6 if I’m not mistaken has 4 steering wheels. The back tires also turn in the direction of the front one when you are turning sharply like you did, and the turn in the opposite way when you are parking or driving in the city to make the car easy to drive and feel smaller and more practical that it actual is.
Don’t complain about turbocharged V6 power on the Audi S6 in the US. Here in Europe we get a DIESEL powered A6, with 100 LESS horsepower. But we do get the wagon.

I personally don't dislike Audi, but for this S6 it doesn't look right with chrome. The wheels should be blacked out and for $81 grand the S6 should have Ventilated seats and a Heated steering wheel. My personal displike with Audi is the yearly maintenance, the maintenance cost is more than Mercedes and BMW.

You don't get them with the sport seats, but if you get the comfort seats you get ventilated and massage seats.

Only the Audi USA website, if you option the Luxury Package, you MUST get a straight black interior, or else you don't get massaging seats, etc. This is ghetto af! I want the red interior and the Luxury Package, or I'll head over the Mercedes, b%$#@!

I like the way Audi's look but for some reason they are starting to look dated. I'll keep my Genesis G80 Sport twin turbo AWD and have a much better interior and exterior for that matter while saving 20k in mulaa.

I have a black S4 2001 B5 manual transmission 6 speed, 30 valve 2..7 V6 bi-turbo I bought December of 2000 and never let it go, I also have a B 8.5 with a 6 speed manual transmission with a super charged motor, Estoril Blue Crystal Effect, 2014 with the B&O sound system which is played at maximum volume. I live in a Rocky Mountain ski town and both cars shred through the powdah. Thanks very much for the review and hope you do more of high performance Audis (S4? S8?).

Is it true that Audi is worst than BMW when it comes to reliability? I've been told Audi breaks down far more frequently than BMW. Not to mention the cost for mechanical and electrical issues.
I bought a 16’ S6 brand new ordered to my spec, even w a 4K off msrp in April of 2016, now paid for w 42k miles..love it in PNW weather, 4 full synthetic oil changes and a new set of tires back at 23 k miles, front brakes was replaced under warranty at 11k miles..that’s it so far..I have befriended a customer of mine who owns and operates a European car shop, nothing but reg maintenance which is 1 at 42k in advance of 45k , who also indicates to me car is perfect so far even w original set of windshield wipers and over 40 percent left on brakes pads and rotors..knock on wood but do suggest a European specialist shop u can trust after warranty expires..cheaper than other German brands I owned previously, I truly believe only brand more reliable is Lexus n Acura and their brands..for European badges , take care of it from new w no surprises on previous owners who leases then Ur new Audi will treat u the same..

You are lucky,in Europe we have a V6 mild-hybrid diesel😒,this 2.9TT is way better👏.If Audi wants diesel in Europe,he should put the engine from Porsche Panamera 4S diesel(4.0 V8 with 420 HP)🙃
It boggles my mind that so many consider it acceptible to HONK their horns when they lock their cars. How can that be ok ????? when it wakes people up and causes stress and pain for those of us who have to listen to it hour after hour after hour. We dont just hear your car HONK we have to listen to car after car after car after car..... All day and night. Staggering! And no one thinks about the pain it is causing?

Drove the old v8 and this new v6. The V6 is very good but it is not an adequate successor to the V8. There is just something about the power delivery from more cylinder. and giving the price, that v6 isnt adequate.

Unfortunately, reliability of the current design Audi A6 is MUCH WORSE than average- according to Consumer Report's.

I just got a used 2014 s6 C7 I kind of like the analog gauges in the C7, the new interior is nice but too much touchscreen on the lower one imo
