Hi Makenzie, I had this problem too. Here are a few things I would recommend checking about your posture: 1)that you’re holding your inside hand high (all stretched out) with shoulder engaged. When it’s low, you just end up being lower in general. 2)that you are standing on your tip toes if you’re not using heels.3)that when you swing with your outside leg, you have it fully extended all they way out to give yourself more momentum and lift. 4)when you finally position yourself around the pole, make sure you’re not sitting into it. Try to think that you’re sitting up straight with a flat back. This will also put you higher up and make your spin down look more graceful. These are the areas I had to improve to do it better. Hope they help 🙂
Just went to my first pole class and she didnt explain nothing, this is so good thank you!!
Glad it helped! You are so welcome 💜 Have you already tried it?
I find that I never have enough time to get the second leg up before the first leg touches the ground. Any recommendations or tips?
Thank you for trying this tutorial. Maybe you can try to go a little bit more slower on both legs and keep trying! Let me know how did it go 💜

Do you offer classes ??
Sweet ❤️
Thank you for checking this out! Hope you'll give it a try 💜
Is it easier with the pole on static or spin?
Good question. It is better to start first with static, but also it's a preference 💜
I keep hurting my shoulder. What can I do to prevent this?
Hello! You can try doing some shoulders warm up or dynamic stretching for shoulders before pole.
Remember to activate your bigger back muscles. Push your chest forward. Keep your hips open and forward.
HEY SHORTY YOUR DOING IT WRONG FIREFIGHTERS DON'T USE HANDS SLIDING DOWN THE POLE SWEETY!
