New insecure Jake was way over the top, overly submissive, and far more pathetic. It's such a huge contrast from his normal straight man self.
Zeron RB Well the last two seasons from J&A were clearly lacking creativity and depth (they even make fun of themselves about it) so both J&A had to be submerged into their characters and play them overly the top. That’s is why in the season finale Amir was completely insane and impossible to bare with and Jake was either extremely annoyed with Amir OR completely crazy with insecurity.
I love this web series to death and probably watched it maybe way too much but they did the right thing ending it.
@@TheSecondBeef Yeah agreed. It was still fun to watch and their performances were always entertaining, but the last few seasons definitely dropped in quality where the writing was concerned. I'm glad they didn't prolong it anymore, it ended with pretty good will from the community. Another season I think would have soured that a bit.

I always liked how the characters talked about something irrelevant for a few seconds before the actual plot starts;
it really makes things feel very natural, and it is also oddly charming at the same time.
I love the zoom when he says "Let me talk to the fucking manager!"
One of the best episodes ever. Jake and Amir thrive in these roles that are opposite of the normal tone.

when the video first appears to be really narrow, you can full screen and then go back to normal size, and it'll be perfect.
