      The sad thing is Wing deserves the benefit of the doubt. With the Birds backed in their own territory with 19 seconds remaining, who really expected a 61-yard field goal to be made? I thought they were gonna play for overtime at that point, but being an Eagles fan, I'm glad they didn't. I'm glad they pulled this one out!

      LOST IN THE SAUCE Thank you sir. Obviously im a eagles fan, but i have great respect for Jason Garrett. He has managed to build one of the best offensive lines in the league. He is a stand up,coach with, regardless of what anyone says, a standup organization. The cowboys are great for there community and the state of Texas. Most people dont know this, but the league shut the cowboys down when they wanted to honor the officers who were murdered in Texas last year. Im just worried that while the Eagles may be rebuilding into a powerhouse, the cowboys may have missed there best opportunity last year

    • @gamingeagle19
      @gamingeagle19 7 лет назад +1

      Perhaps. The chemistry was certainly there but the new guys on the line will gel more and more and the defense should continue to get better as well so we should be on the rise for years to come. Of course the same can be said for you guys as well. This division is going to be very interesting for a long time.

    • @thomasdaniels4458
      @thomasdaniels4458 7 лет назад +6

      Chess RedEagle The cowboys defense certainly bent against Larry Fitzgerald on some plays but they didnt break Monday night. To there credit they have a young secondary and Fitz is an elite player. The giants are gearing up to takeover the bottom for years to come and the redskins have peaked. In my opinion, for the next decade, the east will be a two team race. Dak is a freak when he has time to develop plays behind his line and Carson Wentz is right there with Dak with the future up and coming nfl star qbs

    What a defining moment in Eagles football history. This set the tone for the rest of the season. This set the tone for the rest of Elliot's career. Unfuckwithable is what I'd describe Elliot. When he comes on the field you damn well know points are going on the board. That man's leg has done more for this team than I can even put in to words. He's an amazing player and and even more amazing person. True display of heart, soul and brotherhood with the Eagles. 6 years later and he still strives to get better and make everyone around him better. What an amazing person.

    Doug's playcalling and decision making are bad at times, but he's been solid with formations and personnel so far this season. He went with a lot of 2-3 TE packages in this game against a Giants team that stayed in nickel/dime. I'm starting to think that's why the Giants have a poor run defense. It's coaching as opposed to the talent there.

    Be prepared to see many incredible plays by Carson Wentz in the future. I believe he has the talent and the ability to be an elite QB. Someday when the names Montana, Bradshaw, Manning, Brady are discussed,you will also see the name Wentz. Not only is he a phenomenal player but he is also a good guy.. Looking forward to watching him for many yrs to come.
    Fly Eagles Fly! Superbowl Champs.. Waited my whole life to say that.💚

    Is Dak Prescott doing that? You see how Wentz looked at Agholor the entire time and bring the corner down... then throw that dart to Jeffrey in coverage. Dak wouldn’t take that chance. I’m tired of people comparing Dak and Wentz... their not comparable when you watch shyt like this.

      Eli is in regression, Cousin's is an ok QB but wouldn't count on him to carry a team, and Dak has an incomplete grade. Dallas gives him the kindergarten playbook which you cant win tough games with. Usually mostly short easy passes. If they let Dak start gun-slinging I think it will take over a decade to determine who is better, Dak or Wentz. (eagles fan here)

    Funny story bout the kicker, his junior year of highshool he was brought onto the football field to kick for a contest, he banged a 30 yarder and thought "that wasn't hard" and tried out for the team his senior year. Next thing ya know he's the kicker at memphis, signed to the chiefs practice squad, and 2 weeks later comes to philly and has the greatest kick in eagles history. some guys on the team didn't know his name til that kick. Crazy man, FLY EAGLES FLY.

    What many people don't know is the Eagles dominated this game for 3 quarters- they were up about 21-3, and then the OBJ show took over for the Giants in the 4th and they came back and tied it. Giants Eagles games are always close no matter how good or how bad either team is. Even if the rookie Elliott didn't hit the longest FG in Eagles history, Wentz and company still would have won it at home in overtime.

    • @michelcharbonnier7603
      @michelcharbonnier7603 6 лет назад

      Man, rightfully so. If you miss a 30 yarder (I would guess almost every rookie kicker has) and then go to your coach and ask to kick a 61-yarder to win such a huge game takes a lot of guts.
      And making it takes even more skill.
      Great job!
