    We bought a new 2020 UX200. $32,000, 35,000 miles so far, 100% no issues, 33 MPG to date, 75% Hwy.
    The handling is quick, nimble and responsive. Great road feel, confidence building in multiple mountain turns. Great brakes!
    It is a perfect car for a single, or a couple. Precision build.
    I think we made a great investment for the next 8 years.

    We bought a 2021 UX, it's perfect for our needs. It take my kiddos back & forth to gymnastics(I drive 90-110miles per day, 5days/wk). It does this perfectly well :-) I have a heavy foot(I cruise ~80/85 on the highway)and still get 35-38mpg, can't beat it!!
    It is a great little commuter car!!

    Tiny is not boring... but underpowered with a CVT is.

    • @damilolaakanni
      @damilolaakanni Год назад +6

      I think 181hp is fine for a crossover this small. Plus, it's a Lexus hybrid, so it doesn't have a CVT. It has a planetary gear set which toyota calls eCVT.

    • @digitaldoc100
      @digitaldoc100 Год назад

      @@damilolaakanni At that price point, 181 HP is way weak. The CVT plus a physical first gear is still a CVT in the end. Both make little sense in a Lexus. Will be better off with a Corolla cross hybrid.

    I love Lexus but people that buy this model specifically are really dumb. It's like $50,000+ in the show-room and it's not very well equipped. It's basically a dressed up Toyota Corolla. You're better off going with a Mazda CX-30 or Kia Sorento SX which is better in every way and I'm not exaggerating either!
    A FULLY LOADED Mazda CX-30 with double the power is the starting price of the Lexus UX. Toyota seems to be smoking the green tea again...

      I drove the ‘23 UX while my ‘22 NX was in for service and i disagree. I have driven the new Corolla as well. The UX feels way more refined and is way smoother over bumps. Also you don’t hear the road or wind much too.

    • @lifeofmike556
      @lifeofmike556 Год назад +1

      @@Alec15000 Well that's obvious, you took my comment too literal. Please understand the Lexus UX is LITERLLY JUST A RAV-4 Hybrid... With plush seats and better suspension. You aren't buying a nice fancy Lexus. You are buying a RAV-4 that only shops at Gucci and takes pictures with snapchat filters. Its WAY overpriced for what it is.

      @@lifeofmike556you really don't understand at all, what this car is, do you?? It's *not* "LITERALLY JUST A RAV4 Hybrid" 🤦
      It has a totally different body, totally different interior, *a lot* of extra luxury features, & is built to a much higher standard to feel like a proper upper luxury vehicle.
      Why does the Audi version of the Corolla cost twice the price?? Because it is built to a higher standard, has way more luxury, looks classier, and feels more refined! Are you seeing where I'm going with this... replace Audi with Lexus....

    I appreciate your review and opinion. But in mine (which no one may care but this is a public posting); as I'm an older sporty car lover, I love it's appearance and none over the top immunities! But that horsepower bothers me. This should have been the matured GR-Corolla guy's option. Once Toyota figures out adding an auto-transmission to the G16E-GTS please offer it in this too?!!! I will be in line! Or offer this bigger engine with a modest turbo! Either one (in my opinion) would be a welcomed appreciated option! Thanks again for the review! ✌🏽❤️✊🏽
