Being the final (main) game of the series, am I the only one who thinks this battle theme gives you that feeling of being in the final chapter of a series, while keeping it's regular battle theme feel?
Nope. The beginning definitely has this : "whelp we've done this before, you know the drill, let's go out with a bang." The fight sounds a little somber in the battle theme in my opinion. It makes sense for what happened in the plot, Lan/Net is doing the same thing from before, but it's not *quite* the same because he's not at the home he grew up with. Compare that to the rest where they sound a bit happier sounding.
Truly, Capcom is good at making us feel the end is near with the "normal battle theme" of their last games. StarForce 3 did the same. Heck, even the questioning theme of Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribulation and Spirit of Justice gave me the same feeling.
One of my favorite battle themes in the series, it manages to keep the feel of a traditional BN game while also giving an emotional and bittersweet vibe knowing that this is the last game in the series especially around 0:16 and 0:30 those parts just hits you right in the feels. It’s like it’s trying to say goodbye in a very hype but melancholy sorta way that I like.
this game damn i love this theme being in perfect synchno with lan and megaman the sound of the blaster the cry of the cybeast when you use him Damn the memmories
3 was my favorite because my cousin introduced me with that game, then I loved 4 with duel soul, now playing the ones I didn't play 1256 and battle chip challenge and have to say 2 is pretty awesome too, this is probably my favorite series next to Final fantasy and Sonic 1-4, don't even like the regular Megaman and X series😂
How did I never hear of this game in the gba days? Just stumbled onto it a few days ago and I love it. The only annoying thing I could find is how it constantly tries to draw its play time out by forcing me to talk to everyone in an area or do the same task 3 times before fighting a boss.
+Grizzly Bear I thought the same when I read that, xD. Just like the Dark chip sound is associated with BN5 battles, the howl sound is associated with BN6
Unfortunately for me, Bass BX burned it into my head in a negative way. I honestly didn't use the Beast Out mechanic much in the postgame, preferring to focus on Crosses and PAs.

+SpyderTurbo92 no, this game came out in 2005 and was developed in 2004 (4 months later and i'm still waiting for your answer)

Capcom's composer are amazing at giving us that ''this is just a normal battle, but the end is near'' feel.
Just remember you can't say your done til you have all your symbols

hope you like the game and you should try the starforce series afterwards if you haven't played it yet.
The postgame is brutal.
Tom G Battle Network 4 and 6 are pretty bad at doing what annoys you. But BN 2,3,5 are fantastic games.
Oh....4.5 . Right you Europeans use commas where there should be a decimal point.
1st! And THANK YOU SO MUCH NO ONE EXTENDED THIS SONG! YET IT'S SO PERFECT!
i remember playing this when i was 6
I still play it
I just beat Bass BX last year. FUCK that boss.
+ZeroTar 10836,i was 1 year old when this game came out (3 months old in another dimension)
I played this game when I was 16 back in 2006. This and pokemon Emerald. :)
I came by Megaman CX
What was your favorite part of this game mine is THIS SONG
Mine was the Beast Outs. That's what got me into the Battle Network series.
0:16 0:21 My part favorite.
rockman CX
My favourite gameboy game
Beast Over!
This is the only BN game I never played. The music sounds awesome but idk why I never actually played it. Starforce caught my interest I guess.
you should try it is very fun to play whit the beast out mechanic =)
It's awesome dude, it's pretty much considered the second best game (after BN3) by most people. You should give it a try someday ;)
+Stocke I will definitely do so at some point. I loved BN5 to bits so hopefully it's just as awesome!
I played BN 3,4,5,6, and Starforce 1, and Megaman 1, 2, 3, 10, and Megaman&Bass
i only played bn3 blue, bn5 team colonel, and bn 6 cybeast gregar.
Though Battle Network 6 is my least favorite Battle Network I always love the Battle theme sounds like an early 2000's anime Battle.
getting faster.

The nistolgia is hitting me hard.
This is really a good game but bn3 is way better this is just my opinion.
How so?
Narrative and writing wise yes but as for gameplay 6 was a lot better imo.
