  • In this video, Dr. Joseph Nemeth and Dr. Louis Shoha ‪@professionalendodontics1670‬ discuss the use of laser in root canal treatment. Root canals are one of the most common dental procedures, and the traditional method involves using a drill to remove the infected or damaged pulp from the tooth. However, with the advancements in dental technology, laser treatment has become a popular alternative.
    Dr. Joe Nemeth and Dr. Louis Shoha are two experienced dentists who have been using laser technology in their practice for years. They share their knowledge and experience in this video, explaining how laser root canal treatment works and why it can be a better option for some patients.
    They also discuss the benefits of laser treatment, such as less pain, less bleeding, and faster healing times. Additionally, they cover the different types of lasers used in dentistry and the importance of finding a qualified dentist who is trained in using lasers for root canal treatment.
    If you're considering root canal treatment, or are simply interested in learning more about the latest advancements in dental technology, this video is a must-watch. Join Dr. Joe Nemeth and Dr. Louis Shoha as they share their expertise on laser root canal treatment and answer common questions about this innovative procedure.

    Today, I had a root canal on my #13. Dr. Kim used a laser to clean it out. I'm so glad you guys use them to better disinfect the canal. Thank-you for what you do.😌

    Hi Dr Nemeth & Dr Shoha can you please do a video for dentists in poor countries about the lasers themselves, how and where to buy them… as well as their costs. Our patients will benefit from these immensely.
    Our budgets are very limited and we wouldn’t/couldn’t get it wrong.
    Kind regards.
    Dr RB 🙏🏻

    There's another technology - one that uses ACOUSTIC energy to cause cavitation in a special fluid. Here's a quote from the description of this technology:
    The GentleWave Ultracleaning Procedure combines acoustic energy and optimized fluids to reach every part of the root system, including the interior porous surfaces, which can’t be thoroughly cleaned with endodontic files. With traditional root canal treatment, biofilm often remains, and can lead to a reinfection of the roots within weeks. However, with the GentleWave Ultracleaning Procedure, all of the biofilm is removed in a single session so there is little risk of a second infection.

    Hi Dr Nemeth I have a question about my back teeth. They make contact constantly at a resting position, putting a lot of stress on the back of my jaw/mouth. It hurts to start eating if I haven’t in a while. Have you made videos covering this?

    Did he address the issues of minimal invasive treatment, numbing injections etc. or did I miss it out? Being highly anxious about dental treatments I really wish a complete laser treatment emerges in future where there is no requirement of extensive drilling, piercing of files etc 😀

    I had a root canal done on a lower right tooth, and first it was cleaned mechanically. Then a month later it was cleaned with a laser, and 12 hours later when I woke up my lymph nodes on my neck, under my jaw and under my ear were swollen/inflamed - all on the right side. Not a lot, but they were. And now 3+ months later they're still swollen.
    I went to an ENT, I had an ultrasound done, I tested my vitamins, and I did a ton of blood tests, all clean and good. Only the ultrasound found that my lymph nodes on the right are indeed swollen, but nothing to worry about. I have no chronic conditions, I have no allergies, and I never get sick.
    I talked to a bunch of dentists about it, and no one has anything intelligent to say about the situation. Only one dentist told me something plausible. He told me that they must have hit a nerve with the laser, and that's why my lymph nodes swell up, as a response to the injury.
    They may tell you that you need a "trained professional" to do your laser thing. Well, yeah, how do you know who is a competent trained professional? They're all trained professionals, right? You can't look in your crystal ball and know that this dentist you're seeing is competent in handling the laser. And even if they are, maybe they mess it up by accident.
    Considering my situation and how everything happened, I'll be staying away from lasers. I've had A LOT of root canals done with traditional methods, and this kind of thing never happened.
    Now with these lymph nodes I can't go out in the cold because they start hurting. And I have no idea when they're gonna go back down.

    • @Weesson
      @Weesson Год назад +1

      i would think that maybe this would have happened regardless of the laser. Just because you had perfect endo on your other teeth doesn't mean the next one was going to be perfect. Possible that it wasn't the laser who messed you up but the practitioner. Regardless of laser, its hard to find competent practitioner just like you said yourself in convetional and non conventional methods. It could also be possible when they used anesthesia, it could've been that it was injected incorrcertly or possible injected too much. Maybe the body is rejecting that endo tooth and you may need extraction. They're too many factors to say that your issue is due to the laser.

      @@Weesson Thanks for the reply.
      The tooth was first opened and cleaned mechanically, no problem. A month later we did the laser, and 12 hours after that my lymph nodes are swollen.
      Now, 4 months later theyre still swollen. Ive been to an ENT, i got a bunch of blood tests done, i havent been sick before or since. And the tooth has been opened and cleaned 4 more times since. In fact, it was opened and cleaned again today. They put in antibiotic and something else, and its supposed to stay in for 5 days. Then i go again.
      I honestly cant remember if they gave me anaesthetic during the laser cleaning.
      The body rejecting the endo tooth? Such a thing exists? The tooth has not been closed yet. Its still in the root canalling process, for 4+ months now. I mean, nothing foreign has been put in that tooth permanently, yet.
      Oh also, there is a small process (shade at the root tip seen on the xray), which is in remission. It has been reduced by about 30% since the root canal began.

    Hello I wanted to ask if cavities can be reversed?

    • @RoxanaRogalski-ll8rt
      @RoxanaRogalski-ll8rt 2 месяца назад

      Yes they can be reversed.
      First, avoid toothpaste with flouride, it damages the teeth. Don’t use mouthwash that contains fluoride, sugar or other flavors, don’t use regular mouthwash at all, instead use extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil and if you pass it through your throat it is not harmful. You can also use organic Clove oil for infections or inflammation in your gums and teeth.
      It can be expensive but it’s better than going to the dentist over and over.
      I hope this info helps.
