Just ordered the Nux mg300. Looking forward to getting it in my studio. I’ve seen one other guy on here do a demo of the Nux with an acoustic guitar running an acoustic IR. I’d love to see you do a tutorial on that. I mainly use acoustic guitar in my music so I’m interested in exploring the possibilities. I’m hoping to record with a single mic on one track and the piezo on another and then run the piezo track through an acoustic IR on the Nux and re-record into my DAW. I’d love to know what you think! Also, I got the SDRUM and really appreciate your tutorials for that as well. Thank you!
Thanks for the ideas. It's not a bad one. I would say that the acoustic capabilities of the MG-300 are a little limiting as there are no Acoustic IR's built in. The MG-30 has acoustic IR's and acoustic amps as well. Nevertheless I will look into it. Thanks again for the suggestion.
Thanks for the question. You set it up just like any other audio interface with reaper. The output of the MG 300 is simply going to my mixing board. It’s a very simple connection
Does anyone know how to use audacity to record the tone from the Amp, merely using MG 300 as an audio interface for recording. Typically this has no problem using audacity and and Quicktone editor. However, this round I wish to use only the THR10's tone (amazing) and I do not want Nux MG 300 tone on it, while retaining capability of amp/Nux to PC recording capabilities. So far I have tinkered with Mode (Combo Rear, Combo Front, Studio etc), Settings (Dry out/reamp) to no avail. What results is just a "flat" tone where all amps/pedals in Quicktone is bypassed, and none of the distorted tone out of the THR10. Does anyone know how to get the tone from THR10 into audacity?
Likewise £92 English pounds. Looks like an awesome piece of kit. I've a never really used PC software for music I was just going to use it with my vox VT30 combo however there's loads to learn here for me. It's amazing how the technology has improved since my last zoomG2n processor.
@@ThePedalGuy technically you could call it reamping. I bought the unit and I think it's great. Reamping is when you record a dry/clean track and then play that track back through an amp and mic that amp and then you can shape your tone any way you like. this unit will not do that.
@@jacobsmith6773 in the traditional sense, yes that’s how reamping was done in the past. The way that the mg-300 does it is more in the modern sense of reamping. This is also the way it’s defined on several manufacturers sites. Most of the other expensive pedalboards do this like the Headrush and the Ampero.
Nux mg 300 kicking the guitar world with great style
Yes indeed. More vids to come!
Great information, thank you. Can't wait for my 300 to show up, super excited!
Good luck!
Thanks for the presentation. BTW "reamp" option is very useful for recording guitar tracks in the Garageband on th iPad or iPhone. Really cool :-)
Thanks for sharing!

Any vids soon on reamping vocals?
That would be an interesting idea
Thanks
Welcome
Great video, after I connect my mg300 with computer usb, then what? Where should connect the output of the mg300 & how to setting up the reaper?

@@ThePedalGuy thank you, I was having problem because there's no sound during the playback. I solve it by plugging the cable to usb 3.0
Andries aja good to know. Thanks.
Great video, thx!
Chris Steffers thanks. Be sure to subscribe. There’s lots more to come for the mg300
Hi Mister pedal guy, Nux Asio driver isn’t available for OS.
Any suggestions?
Maybe another Asio driver?
If you’re talking about macOS it doesn’t require an Asio driver. It’s plug and play.
@@ThePedalGuy oh great, thank you very much
nux mg 300 screen can be dimmed or not?
Nope

your ear will thank you lol
LOL
I got mine for less than 100 bucks
Yohanes Adi Nugroho good for you. Bad for whomever sold it. I guess they like losing money.
@@ThePedalGuy haha maybe just differ in shipping/import cost
Yohanes Adi Nugroho I think not. Congrats on the deal but let’s not send the wrong message. It’s offensive to us dealers trying to make a living.
@@ThePedalGuy that could be true tho, since i live in a country fairly close to the factory

This isn’t really reamping
Um, yes it is....but agree to disagree.
