  • Welcome back to Olympic National Park! After arriving at the Olympic Peninsula from Seattle we started our first full day camping out at the Hoh Rainforest.
When visiting a national park, it’s always best to get an early start - learn from our mistakes! The best time to visit the Hoh Rainforest is early in the morning. By the time we arrived, well after 9AM, the line was up to an hour long!
The Hoh Rainforest, like any major attraction at a national park, gets tons of visitors in a day. If you want to have more of the park to yourself, not wait, and have plenty of time left for a hike or a visit to Ruby Beach - plan to arrive before 8 AM.
After a gorgeous walk through the Hoh Rainforest we drove all the way over to see Sol Duc Falls! This was a quick hike, under one mile. The falls were the perfect payoff and an easy stop on your day around Olympic National Park.
Finally , we rounded out our visit to Olympic National Park with sunset at Ruby Beach followed by a morning hike at Hurricane Ridge. Our stroll across Hurricane Ridge was such a treat! The sights and smells up in the sub-alpine air were incredible! Hurricane Ridge is a must-visit at Olympic National PArk!

We are so happy we found you guys. We first found you searching for Vermont in October and now we are planning an Olympic National Park trip and knew you were our first go to channel for searching. We love your adventures, in fact so much that you have inspired us to start our own adventure and RUclips channel. We want to thank you for taking us along on your "America" travels and am loving your overseas adventures. Your videos are amazing from your editing to photography to story telling. We always feel like we are right there with you. We hope to be half as good as you someday.

If it’s growing on a tree, it’s a fungus NOT a mushroom. The tree is either dead or dying.

I know I'm going to sound like a homer, but there are NO lines to be found in Redwood National Park, same amount of mushrooms, moss, ferns and banana slugs, PLUS you have the worlds tallest trees...just saying. Thanks for your spin on Olympic.
