Maybe I am missing something but I would love to see more Derek. Even when ending with blue in the face the camera rarely went to him. A drummer that can play guitar and sing needs more credit, not that Dan and Matt aren't multi-talented as well. I love them all. Hands down my favorite band.
Trio firing on all 12cylinders here! The audience got a nice silly treat whether they knew it at the time or not. Derek and Dan both slaying on guitar. Matt really feeling it on vocals! Derek you are missed, Atom you are welcomed. I love this band
i was 14 in 2000 and my friend got tix for on his bday. so we saw saves the day senses fail and alkaline trio. i ended up in the hospital for a dislocated shoulder from crowd surfing. totally worth it.....id kill for a Halloween alkaline show in NJ

42 now, started listening to Alk3 at 22-23 ish? Then they changed my life by learning more about their philosophical beliefs. I then began to read more and research and because of them I educated myself in the sciences. Always will be my fav band.

Got to meet them and get a signature! As a new songwriter at the time... my question (to kinda get help!) Was "do you write the lyrics or the melodies 1st? Is it a set idea on the shape of the song or do u just rock it?" Dan was "oh.... we kinda do a mix of both... you kno..." Matt walks up and "yea we keep it organic natural stuff..." They both trailed off on an question I could've answered myself for them! LMADO!!!! And they trailed off on it! It was rad though! Just a lil 30x30 room above the House of Blues they were playing that night. Sooooo rad!
