AOV 5 Pedal for seller - where's the shimmer?

It seems to have a very rough, distorted sound, with background noise as well. Or is the amp being overdriven? 🤔

I have one of these and I found the shimmer to be in my spring reverb and Room Reverb is like it's a semi tone of the Shimmer. The shimmer reverb on on my pedal, sounds similar to your, with with very little shimmer at all. So since the shimmer sound is in the Spring reverb channel of my pedal, I just use the spring and the room to get the shimmer sounds I want. Maybe your pedal dose the same?

i use reverb and and now delay pedals for the vocals ..great 60's vibe
have u tried this on vocals !? ..i use a fab delay and want to add reverb for amps that dont have it.. i use my fender tube amp that has nice reverb but ...when i used the cheap fab echo on vocals ..omg !! 60's flash back heaven.. now want to add the room hall and spring options to other amps that are just plain.. my main pa is an old 70's TOA head 100 w with a tapco 600r 70's stuff..love it..plus a tube pa head el34 75 watt thats good for guitar and pa..but leave it home for studio recordings

it's the same as the rowin ocean verb ..shimmer effect cannot be heard or as if not working.
