That little metal piece in the center to prevent you foot from slipping and hitting the control on such a tiny pedal, is mostly why I'll bought it because of my love for engineering. Details... all in the details!
Aren't these all just rebranded Mooers from the Shenzhen factory? I've seen like six reverb pedals with this exact same layout. I mean I'm ok with that being that if they all sound like this, then great. Kinda can't go wrong on any of them.
I purchased this pedal a few weeks ago and I have tried it through my original '69 twin. It was very disappointing. The depth was nothing like this video and the volume cuts by 1/3 when you turn the pedal on. So you basically have to turn the amp up to regain that cut so your whole mix goes up.
I tried it through my old twin that does not have an effects loop, and I tried it through my peavey valveking that does. In both cases the Volume was cut by 1/3, the depth wasn't there, and it makes a loud click noise through both amps when pushing the button off, like a voltage surge is happening. I've tried different power supplies too, a Godlyke and a Voodoo. I purchased this pedal through eBay and I'm wondering if it's a knock off?
Probably a little late, but I'll tell you that if you feel dissapointed about this pedal, I encourage to give it a try by doing this. The digital traces can be listened and that can be threated as a "reverb layer". Being said this, you can put this pedal before a delay or after a reverb with a little more processing quality. I think is about to have a variety of sounds and shape what actually we use.
+TheOklep i actually found it later for less on ebay. tho i like using amazon as it can be easier to return stuff. G on ebay, i saw it for 20 something pounds!
+TheOklep its good! its not AMAZING but for the price its great. im only really using the Hall reverb. the spring is alright but not to my preferance and i havent really found a setting that i like with the shim yet. it depends what you're after. for me its pretty much a set and keep. i just slightly adjust the mix and amount if i want more. i only wanted something simple. if reverb is more important to you i recommend going for the tc electronic mini hall of fame. i spent a lot on my distortion and delay so went affordable on reverb. if you want a good cheap phaser by any chance check out the one made by blaxxx. its like 28 quid and sounds great
+Andrea T haven't tried it in the fx loop just in the front. If the mix is up high for the wet signal, the volume will drop. But that is just how reverb works! if the mix is set anywhere up to around 60% then no it doesn't. its fine.
Shimmer before a cabinet is always a pain in the butt, even with a Strymon... This little thing is quite interesting though. I'd use it on a small secondary board. The spring sounds kind of ridiculous. Not like a spring tank, more like a wah 😁
I love it. I want just a inexpensive reverb pedal for now until I can afford to get the pedals I want and this will do perfect. :) I like reverb pedals that give you that ambient feel and this sounds perfect.
I have the Holy Grail pedal for reverb, it was a bit pricey but worth what I paid and it the main reverb pedla I use. this pedal on the other hand is decent for how cheap it is.
Save your money. I got this pedal as a throw in in a trade... The worst reverb ever. I have reverbs going from lexicon PCMs to uber cheap zooms and i wouldn't even rate how crappie this one is. Even if the one i had was faulty i could still hear how grainy it sounded in the demo just as the one i had. Shimmer? What a joke. Sorry Roman this review didn't do you well.
Holy shit that pedal is bigger than he is.
Well at least has that big handle in the middle so you and your bass player can carry it.
That's because there's an ocean in there...
@@shatter3897 That's freaking hilarious!

$1000 guitar, $1000 klon, $1000 amp $40 reverb. I love guitar players!
beautiful playing. really enjoyed your style
Watched this for the pedal review and thoroughly enjoyed your playing!

s this the same as the Rowin Ocean Verb that has the same settings: room, spring and shimmer ?
so ... for only £22 is worth a shot? Not for guitar - rather as an additional effect for analogue synth.

+Randy Cavanaugh ,was it through the fxloop?

А для вокала такая штука существует?
Banggood has some killer prices on their pedals. Very interested. Thanks for the view and listen.
I've made a few purchases on banggood, but I've found prices consistently better on eBay, including on this item (way less on eBay)...
just ordered this for 30 quid. cant wait for it to arrive !
30? Where? How do you like it?

Hello! do you notice any volume drop when the pedal is activated?
do you use it in the effect loop or in fornt of the amp?
thank you in advance

surprised there was a review for this, not bad for the price
The shimmer is not working properly!!
FFS turn the decay down on the shimmer setting! Couldn't you here it feeding back?
hows the shimmer? is this better than mooer? the mooer is 5th octave i dont like it
I ordered one, went through 2NEW Bheringer reverb and bother where faulty and didn't work.
I like how subtle it is

The splash on the spring setting sounded really bad .
Yeah, sounds more like a plate reverb.
Man this thing rocks ,,,I love it !!!
Thanks very much for this.
The Ocean :) 🌊🌊
will this work for getting a ambient sound
i love the shimmer sound on this one! has that haunting chill sound. am trying to achieve an ambient sound as well
this shimmer is good compared to mooer this is on 12octave, the shimverb is on 5th
Soooo awesome and beautiful effect!!! :O
Digital? :O
:O
a reverb pedal will always be digital
Does that work with 9 volt battery?Nice sound
No plug in only.
I love it. I want just a inexpensive reverb pedal for now until I can afford to get the pedals I want and this will do perfect. :) I like reverb pedals that give you that ambient feel and this sounds perfect.
No drip… of course! But is there actually a mini pedal that has the drip??? …Anyone?
Didn't know Jeremy Renner is also playing guitar.
Wow
This man looks so damn confused
He always looks like he's frowning and smiling simultaneously.
Haha, Slow Dancing In A Burning Room^^ Nice review!
Pedal seem shit...room and spring you cant hear and shimmer is way too much.
helpful review!
bad sound pedal....
if want a shimmer sound pedal, don't buy china pedal
i think delay and reverb don't betray money
I have the Holy Grail pedal for reverb, it was a bit pricey but worth what I paid and it the main reverb pedla I use.
