3Berke I would say this is Ok. The bmw manual says that the engine gets to its working temperature after around 10miles , and it used ti be around 100 Celsius. Had this car 4 years and never had any problems
@@RS_ I dont have one. My friend has 120i, just put in 6k to do the valve stem seals, cam sensors, air bag computer, seat belt computer. and now the coolant is leaking.
You add the PN numbers together. In the example shown PN71294, is 7+1+2+9+4=23.
Top, thanx for sharing.
how do i get to put the numbers?
Hey if my number 7 doesn’t show anything does that mean i have a bad sensor?
How can I come back from this menu? I turn off the ignition and put off the key or is there another tips?
Gábor Palotai cant remember now if theres any other way, but I used to turn the ignition off
Thanks for the awesome trick.
How to change or reset the service date if I didn't service it at BMW. Thanks
How do you come back to this "menu"?
I have comfort access and how so I turn the ignition on without starting my e87 120D
Don't press the clutch, but press the engine start button a couple of times.
@@AlexeyHD90 thanks
Did yiur engine management light go off after doing this?
What's normal temperature of bmw 120i? My is around 108-111 celsius
Mine was very similar like yours. I was surprised . Did not expect to have temperature above boiling ,but did not have any problems at all .
Did temp stays when turn car off and then turn ON again? Or must enter this meny again and activate?
trifunovic_90 no, you will have to do that every time
@@RS_ thank you :)
After 15km around 103-106 Celsius is too high? 116i (2,0 petrol
)

Its oil temprature probably as most bmw display
nihonkokusai oil temp cant be 100’C in just 15 miles
What temp should a 2008 116i run at
+yskittles Dont know, but my 118d runs at pretty high in slow traffic , something like 100'C and more
100-110c oil is normal
It seems pointless if you have to do this every time you turn the car off and on again
Sweet, cool vid!! Where did you get the 23 "code" from please?
He summarized the pn number in the start
what a nonsense this is. Why don't BMW have a temp gauge?
I agree..
