@Martin Unfortunately, it looks like the car is not being repaired very well, certainly for a 5 year old Bentley. I saw in the video, instead of the whole rear quarter panel being replaced with a new one, we saw part of the panel being cut out and then in the next shot the rear quarter was in primer. May have been a second hand piece welded in and then the join smoother over with filler. You are then at the mercy of the type of welding done, whether the join was butt or lap of plugged and whether any weld thru primer was used etc, Not to mention cavity wax protection after the car is painted. We didn't see any of these stages.

You’d be absolutely crazy to buy a used, (especially a crashed one) Bentley. Air problems, injection problems, window . . . etc. And I won’t mention leaks. A warning, don’t. It’s a box to pour money into.
A lot of channels cover Ferraris there is not much out there on Bentley products especially coming from your angle on the market. If you blend it with Ferrari you minimise your channel risk going for a narrower interest market sector. It obviously would make a great daily for you with VAG parts bin to explore… I think it’s a winner all round. I’ll keep watching that’s for sure..

I've shared Scott's 456 passion - but would take this Bent for the same reason as his Cousin - easier to play with every day. Both are a bit of noise and a fine interior - this miles better than a 456. But £70k will buy a nice Azure Cali. Simple. Kudos, Mate, and thanks for the shared knowledge!

If you want a gorgeous sounding V8 as an everyday car that is somewhere in between a Ferrari and a Bentley; then have a look at the Lexus LC500 V8. That makes a great everyday driver.
Back in the day before any Bentley or RR would have left the factory all panel gaps would be checked to ensure that they were equal. The way that looks like its been repaired you would probably struggle to fit a rizal in one end of the bonnet by the other end it would be wider than a 50p.....as for the paint 🥺😫

The interior is a dream, you could be 60 thousand pounds into the car and it would stil be worth just for that interior. The sound is a touch agricultural 😂

Question I have always wondered - when spraying, why do they quickly release the trigger when changing direction? I wouldn’t have thought the over-spray would amount to much, and don’t you risk missing the edge?? Also, Scott, your list of in-progress projects is beginning to approach Sam Crac levels…
Spray guns have a two stage trigger. The first starts the air flowing and the second adds the paint. You typically release the trigger enough to stop paint flow but leave the air moving as you reach the end of the panel. Admittedly this guy's technique wasn't too good!

@@Purple_Banana_69 I'm not a 100% on this, but I think that by stopping the paint flow but leaving the air flow, clears any excess paint or dribbles at the tip of the spray gun and keeps such undesireable material away from the body panel being painted. By doing this at the end of each stroke it means a cleaner spray as you come back across the panel.

People who can affort such cars go on a holiday, spend alor of money, and when they get back their company/business made more money than they did spend on the holiday, so those rich people have a problem and that is that they just don't know how to spend it all before they die, and i don't blame them because i would think and do exact the same when i would be stinking rich, because i sure don't want to leave anything to the state, because they already rob us all while we are alive, and they sure will when we die, so don't leave anything to them!
