hey there! its just the version of Cherry MX switches. Here’s the history of Cherry MX:
Vintage -> Retooled -> Hyperglide -> MX2A
Of course there were some variations here and there, for e.g. Pre-Retooled MX switches prior to Retooled version. I hope this info helps!
