  • I wanted to upload this to youtube because I don't believe this has been archived anywhere else. I believe the hard work of all these fantastic people deserved to be available for the public to appreciate.
I loved Dinosaurs ever since I was a kid. When I was a kid Walking with dinosaurs the arena spectacular started touring. Back in the late 2000s sometimes newspapers in the uk came with little promotional objects, the most common one was lego sets but sometimes it came with a paper packets that contains dvd to advertise a new product. This was one for Walking with dinosaurs the arena spectacular which documented the behind the scenes creation of the show.
I was obsessed with this dvd when I was a kid, I watched it all the time, I brought it to my grandparents to watch and i'm fairly certain I've watched this more than the actual tv show. I couldn't fathom how these amazing people built these dinosaurs. I also loved how the dvd presented the completed dinosaurs (like the intro and when the torosaurus & Utahraptor are revealed to the public), from the lighting, to the music, I couldn't get enough of it. I did end up seeing the actual show years later but this dvd stuck with me more then the actual show they were creating.
Recently due to the announcement of the WWD reboot I became nostalgic and wanted to watch it. But when I searched for it online I couldn't find it. So I dug my original dvd from 2009 back out, plugged in a dvd player to my laptop and ripped the dvd so I could upload it here.
Even though the show has been discontinued for a long time I wanted to upload this so people would appreciate the fantastic work the crew put into the show and so a valuable part of my childhood will be documented forever on youtube for anyone to watch. I hope you enjoy :)

30:37 When the puppeteers first saw that, they probably thought: "That's the face we want to see when audiences see these for the first time".
