@@TheVamxie ? This car has such a good handling, you can drift it exactly were you need it and so that won't happen but you need to train that :D

@@xninpo NA’s do come with torsens stock, just not the base models. Same thing with the Nbs.

@@BigBenlolz meanwhile i drive a 3.9 torsen with 6 speed, and hell yea its good for drifting! and after some boost u dont even need clutch type diffs. On a racecar miata i‘d go for a kaaz or cusco diff but not on a daily.... make ur own experience ;-)

the bride low max's are SUPER tight LOL, I tried to sit in one when I fit perfectly in a sparco sprint. The Bride low max is a bit tighter

Has to be the trans gear ratios that makes it quicker. NB 6 speed has higher ratios for 1-5th gear which make it accelerate harder. His 6th gear is the same ratio as your 5th gear and everything below that is quicker.
Also because he has the 10th anniversary his diff ratio is 3.909 instead of the 3.636 which means that it will accelerate faster than other 6 speed cars from the factory
@@ericsson_motorsports The best thing to do is: Throw a NB (NB1 not NB2/ NB-FL) 1.8 diff in it. It's a 4.30:1 in the US version.

I have an 2005 MSM.. very similar mods.. I am debating selling but I am watching this and I definitely dont want to :'( but it is sitting in storage. Also it is my daily haha I dont track it.

I loved my miata. I never drifted it but damn is that NB clean! Im torn on a Miata or an sn95 mustang gt. Im very familiar with Miata engines and love the simplicity of the car but it doesn't have a v8 :(

Very cool setup. Except for the coilovers, with this cheap equipment is definitely not worth it (personal experience) until u get a tein felx z or yellow koni sport.

You should wear gloves with a suede wheel though, the oils from your skin mess them up pretty quickly and there's no fixing it.

Tell her that Miatas are very reliable and that parts are really cheap if something does break, and also tell her that since it's so simple there aren't that many things that can break. Miatas aren't that expensive though so you should start saving up anyway, that way it's your car and not hers
What short shift did you go with?
I have the 01 BRG with the 6speed so was looking for a good short shifter.
Any luck finding one??
Honestly I find stock better than any short shifter
