I'm watching his build for sure, I've been thinking of making a Miata

Kunle F22 you aren’t alone, a lot of guys who drive M cars or Porsche’s started off in a MX5, and they still love them. This owner has a heavily modded Porsche but still drives a MX5 around
To be honest I think every car guy or girl lives a miata.... they are versatile and have a big ass following.
I am a bimmer fan too(I'm driving a cooper JCW atm tho)
But I'll be honest I have had my fair share of... shall I buy a miata with this spare money
I own a bmw e46 too but i wish miatas were cheap here they just so cool ngl.. they just so unique on their own level

miata's arent a random car. They one of the most popular and succesful coupes of all time and other than the 240sx, considered probably the perfect drift car

Miata's a literally an enthusiast car and the NA miata is arguably what revitalized coupes since the 350z, Z3, S2000 and other roadsters all took off or were developed after the Miata started killing it sales wise

I know a guy that lives near me with a turbo LS3 Miata pushing a little over 600hp, 640 tq. He says it's not driveable on the streets, even with Complete suspension overhaul, mechanically gripped out, and 275 Hoosiers warmed up. Even rolling on breaks the tires loose. He's selling it now because of that. I don't know how in the world, if the unibody can even hold up to 1000-1400 hp, if this guy can't deal with much wider turning radiuses, how is he going to be able to drive that on the streets?

miatas in themselves are way more expensive nowadays, and so are the mods itd be like 15k-20k all together if ur not counting engine most likely. still cheaper than a 24 miata though

Its clean but just 2 things I don't like is camber and stretched tires . But thata just me otherwise shes clean
yeah it looks really fucked when you see how wide the car is from the back and there's like 3inches of tire on the ground on each side
well i'm pretty sure if he didn't have camber or wider tires the rb kit would look ridiculous

imma be honest , at first i was , oh nice another ricer with only wheel and suspension and RB kit replica , but GOD, OH GOD, that thing is a beauty !!! Props to the owner very nicely done !! 10/10
I worked in a retirement village doing new construction and a guy had an 90 miata with 89k miles on it. He kept in dust covered in his garage and drove it once every 2 weeks maybe.
Anyways he was selling it as his knees cant handle the constant clutch work. He sold it to me for $1900 and its in great condition. He even replaced the clutch before handing it over to me since i didnt know how to drive stick.

The most inspiring story I've ever heard was back in the 50's (?) The Barris brothers' mom came home to find all of her cupboard handles missing one day. She went out to the barn to find the boys working on their 49 (or so) Mercury- which now had "bullets" across the center of the grille... her bullet-shaped cupboard handles.
All that takes is a drill and a wrench.
I've never understood the
"instant gratification" of choosing a bolt-on OVER an idea, if you can wrench you can probably build.
That's why I "frenched" (cut and pocketed the body) my Miata's outer rear quarters to fit RX-8 taillights. I'm almost entirely sure I'm the only one who's done it. Cuz why? If you can bolt in Altezzas or Euros or Blackouts? Cuz it was my idea.
Maybe upholstery or even just embroidery is your skill, or audio, or strictly lighting, so why not use ideas if you have em? Always follow inspiration.

The miata is a small car you will hit your head with stock seats
When I bought mine the rear window was so yellowed and old that I literally couldn't see through it. Now theres a hole in it and it fogs up when its cold out. If you gotta see behind you, use the side mirrors or drop the top real quick.

@@ClassicStarz Lol went on a much different path. Its crazy coming back to this video when the miata owner had a few k subs rather than a few hundred k. Im driving my grandmothers old 2011 Chevy HHR. Didn't cost me anything so I cant complain. Im going to take it on a road trip in a few weeks and see if I end up enjoying living out of a car. If I do, I may end up with a ram promaster and turn it into my home for a few years while working remote IT jobs. I'd still love one of these or a GR Corolla tho.

I don't know i've seen multiple times on youtube car vlogger builds where they buy rocket bunny kits and they don't fit at all in addition to taking months to deliver. The knock offs are just as good from what i've seen, especially for the price.

With all that money I wish he would’ve molded the wide body kit. That would have looked exponentially better and had really been “next level”
if he molded it, he would ruin the look he is going for. If you watched, he said he wanted the bubble style look of the 90's.
Spudtastic how would it ruin the bubble look? If anything it would enhance the look making the body more rounded and bubbly

primo sparazza i don’t have a Miata. But if I did and had the resources he’s did, then I would mold them kit. It’s not a competition buddy. He can do whatever he wants with his car. Just kills the look with all the expensive and quality parts he used but still decided to use rivers to install the kit. Looks rice to me IMO.
