@@amyphillips3682 This doesn't make any sense...They *openly* stole an election from the guy. You male leftists just need to stick to classics like "he's orange!" and "the TV said he's bad!". Stop innovating, you sound ridiculous.
If this is true, why on Earth would Massie not name the lobbyists involved in the bribe? Is he so scared of them? He claims he is not afraid. My guess is that this story is complete BS and if he named them he'd be sued for slander. The vast majority of money in DC is spent on intimidation not bribery - they fund challengers, run smear campaigns, conduct push polls and take out super-expensive ads.
@@congressionalresearchinsti3897 Considering it's his word against theirs, he'd be sued even if it's true. Are you really trying to say that the only way a lobbyist would protect their name is if they were doing so in earnest? Talk about naive.

Because they wouldn’t have done anything about it.. lobbyists do nothing but keep their corporatists pleased and stable the empire. And the Fed is the world empire

You think the FBI care about someone who bribes a politician? THE FBI IS IN BED WITH POLITICIANS lol This would be like reporting to the CIA that someone is destabilizing another country
From 1950 to 1980, the lobbyists were a second class citizen in Washington D.C. There were a 100 or so lobbyists. In 1980, there were 3 budding lobbyists who changes everything with their firm. Two of the three were tight with a fourth person who was not a lobbyist. By the mid 1990's, that firm would often work with *_both_* of the opposing candidates. By 2006, the lobbyists reached *_13,000_* strong. There were now several *_hundred_* former members of congress, too. I am pretty sure Trump has some sort of idea what job those two were working in. *_DRAIN THE SWAMP!_* Those two lobbyists Manafort and Stone *_made_* the swamp!
Before 1975 the ways and means committee operated exclusively behind closed doors. This gave lobbyists no access and therefore no power. Then it was opened and guess who flooded in. Lobbying thrives off of sunshine.
Well it is liberal controlled and owned HBO so that's not surprising. If you look at the amount of Democrat millionaires vs Republican millionaires in the House and Senate, that tells a different story.

Good for Massie for recognizing and rejecting a bribe.
it's been 2 years and he still didn't make it to ways and means unfortunately
they should've put him on that committee.

It would be impossible for anything to come of it. More wasted tax dollars
Lobbying isn't illegal. Many of the largest buildings in DC are owned by corporations and labor unions to house their lobbyists and admins.
