This ensemble performance is so intoxicating and gorgeous. The tonal and rhythmic balance between the battery and front...YES! This is giving me a greater appreciation and understanding of why they won the Sanford this year.
So writing a book around dialog Rarick, from the rip, acknowledges is not a compelling narrative and simple... Given that, how interesting can the show be?? I maintain, these guys were clean, but the drumline music at points reminds me of a high school level cadence groove. I think I like the pit most so far. And to pile on to the hosts' comments - I've seen the show three or four times and I still think it's one of the worst I've ever seen. I appreciate the cleanliness, but clean suck still sucks. JMO I'd love to see you guys get ScoJo or David Glyde and do the same thing with them!
Yeah,,, I think you missed Rarick's point. I mean, it's drum corps not prestige television. The narrative's function is to provide a minimal amount of context for the things that are compelling in the show.
I've been really enjoying this style of video with the guys behind the music breaking it down further, keep up the good work!
I agree! Great content, thank you Mike and Evan

Can I just say that this channel is criminally underrated. I'm just waiting for y'all to blow up! You guys deserve it. Thanks for the awesome content.
Thanks for the support! We enjoy doing it regardless, all for the love of the game.
Love that you have my favorite two battery writers in a row on the podcast. Love hearing their perspective
2015 is without a doubt, my favorite book that Rarick had ever written. 22' blew it out of the water.
Would LOVE one of these with Lauren Teel and the Troopers.
It’s in the works 👍
For the algorithm. ✊
Respect.
I want to second what he said about Liz Clayton and the media team at Coats. They are outstanding. It puts our efforts on the Alumni side to shame.
Can we get a reaction video about CC getting rid of all the percussion staff?
i’d love to see rob ferguson from phantom regiment on here
You guys should start doing show reactions
first

@@scottyt5918 Maybe. I took it at face value in conjunction with my valuation of the show.
that was a lot of bad takes to smash into one RUclips comment there, bud.
