North Texas/DFW area high schools have been talented since the mid 90’s and we’ve been blessed to have talented instructors (my high school years our Head instructor Marched UTA his parents wouldn’t let him march corps because his dad want him to get a degree in finance, my Tenor tech marched Madison Scouts, and our bass each Marched Phantom Regiment… to say we were blessed is an understatement) Coppell has always been a powerhouse program and their school district cares about the arts. Coppell, Hebron, Haltom City, Flowermound Marcus, L.D. Bell all powerhouses till this day. It’s beautiful to see a line like this, so young too!

I think you said "Band Fest"....if you did, Band Fest is an event at the rose parade where a few days before the parade all the groups perform their competitive field shows or half time shows for the public

Not a drummer but have respect for them, grew up marching corp style in HS and show style in college, love to see dialogue like this the type of people i was around in HS talked trash about show style bands for not being “clean” as a musician you should have a certain level of respect for different styles of playing.

Props for featuring them. They performed at PASIC in recemt years. Also check Norfolk State's drumline, they performed at PASIC as well recently. Both groups are extremely skilled. No school wants to battle these groups they'll destroy all styles in their way because they're so well versed in both.
