I'm starting to ask myself, what am I even working my job for? To come home to an empty apartment everyday? I feel like life passed me by and a bit of a loser..

Me and two friend have decided to make a chat with each other for one thing and one thing alone. "Accountability". We all want to "level up" and have big plans for our new years resolutions. We have made a pact that we will improve ourself as much as possible in 2024. We are going to hold each other accountable to make sure we achieve our goals.

Why am I slugging my body everyday so hard to come home exhausted to an empty, quiet apartment, where I can't get out because I'm so wiped and weekends are my only time to recover and relax.. Don't get into this trap either.. It sucks and I hate it. Yeah, it pays well, but for what? To be alone and then work?@@Cataclysm999

Point #4 is true. I'm 29 and had my girlfriend for 3 years now. I noticed I was getting comfortable and lazy. Got some bad old habits again, and was letting her control my direction too much. I saw signs that she wasn't into me as much as she used to be, so luckily I managed to quickly get back in the gym, eating healthy again, no alcohol/drugs, and started studying after work for the next stage of my career. Now she's not happy that I'm always busy, but certainly more into me. 😂 Cannot sacrifice our own development for a relationship, because your girl can always leave you for somebody who developed while you sacrificed your own development trying to keep your girlfriend happy.

I'm 27, started this year with a great consistent self improvement process. I enrolled myself with a girl around February, she adored me. She wanted to wake up at 7am like me and have these healthy habits. And she kept me late on my schedule. I started to have less time for myself, had dinner later and slept later. I ended up in bad habits again as I was struggling to keep all together. I started to wake up later than her, no focus and issues started to arise between us. I was not putting the effort into my goals anymore.
Had to end it a few weeks ago. Now I'm back on track.

    • @LibertarianGearhead
      @LibertarianGearhead Год назад +2

@Marlke Yeah, fair enough. It's important to stay on track and date when you feel that you have the free time to do so. My girlfriend is starting to appreciate me going to the gym now that I'm back to getting fit. I also find that if we're going to the gym and trying to build muscle then we need more sleep than somebody who's not trying to put on so much muscle mass, which means that having the same sleeping schedule might not work for both.

@@LibertarianGearhead You may want someone that pushes you to be better. I went abroad a few years and met my amazing wife, she always pushes me to be better (and I've improved a ton thanks to her), she always cooks, cleans, takes care of everything without complaining, and does whatever I ask (albeit needing much instruction as she was a virgin when we met). I went on a dozen lunch dates the week I met her, as I'd decided not to let hormones dictate who I am with anymore ("love at first sight" = lust) so I decided on just having a bunch of coffee and lunch dates with girls at the university I was at abroad. Best decision ever. I treated them all like job interviews, as a small business owner, I knew after all, it's the most important position I'll ever hire for. Even a relatively middle class worker can lose $500,000+ in home equity and assets they build up over a decade or two if they pick wrong, worse they can lose the kids they create. If anyone reading this does go abroad, make sure to avoid westernized women, the easiest way to do so is to ask if they like America (or Europe) as if they gleefully say "yes" that's a big red flag. I found over those dozen lunch dates that all the women who said yes, when I asked "why?" would answer "I love Hollywood movies, Los Angeles, New York, blah blah blah" all had materialistic reasons. Not a single woman who said "yes" ever answered the positive aspects (Judeo-Christian values, founding fathers, capitalism vs. communism without the materialistic consumer reasons for capitalism, etc.).
The correct answer was the one my now wife gave, she shrugged, and said she liked her own country (patriotic/conservative) and didn't want to move abroad as she'd miss her family (good relationship with her father/family). So many conservative westerners go abroad trying to avoid westernized women in America, only to end up with a progressive liberal wife from abroad who is materialistic and wants to escape reality by running off with some "rich" (in their mind) foreigner all because those type of foreigner-crazy women are bold and aggressive: the materialistic escapist foreign crazy ones WILL chat you up and try to hook up with you especially if you are young and handsome like I was, which many men are foolishly susceptible to a woman's advances so steel yourselves lads, had the intro scene with women chasing me happen to me as a teenager abroad, (being rich and young is a bad combination) but in hindsight dating one of them was a mistake red flag. Much later after dating many and gaining much wisdom, is when I learned to treat it like a job interview and ask TOUGH questions AND trick questions.
Employers will often give people applying to $18/hour desk jobs a psychological test and grill them for hours to figure out if they'll be productive, and yet I often see those same managers or business owners not ask ANY tough questions before sleeping with dates that end up their wives. They literally let an unqualified job applicant sleep their way to the most important role they will ever hire for (wife) and then act surprised that they lost everything (a million in house equity, assets, child support, lost their kids, etc.).
Seriously, men would grill the HELL out of a job applicant to be manager of their small business like when picking someone to manage their restaurant or small biz, where only maybe $200,000 is at stake if they screw up, they will give psychological profile tests and grill them for hours. But then that same guy will lose $3 million in a divorce because he didn't ask serious questions and just picked based on hormones and who would sleep with them. Such foolishness.

Listen to this man gents. I got married young at 23, sacrificed most of those years to support my gf/wife and watched her excel. Jump from multiple jobs to get her almost six figure gov job while I had to be the conservative and stable one to make sure that we didn’t go homeless or hungry. By the time I hit 32, I completely changed careers, changed mentalities, changed schedules back to the old me who was hungry for it all…and she left because I became “Emotionless.” All that time sacrificed for no ROI. Now I’m really cold and calculated, on monk mode, and cranking up my hobbies and generally just putting myself out there to the world and am seeing positive results. Life will determine whether or not you are making the right decision guys. Put your life on hard mode and beat the game. 💯

I’m a 27yo man, Mexican and working as a software engineer remotely, living in a rural area in Mexico. Currently one of my challenges is finding a group of friends with the same goals / background as me because I feel I have outgrown my old group, they are either married or don’t want to improve and are stuck in the same high school mentality and I’m not learning anything anymore. This is affecting my social life. I’m not better than anyone, is just that my life path was different. At first I was the one broke and my mental health was terrible. Also my biggest challenge is dating, I sacrificed this phase of my youth to get a good income and overcome poverty. Thank god it worked out, but Ive never had a real relationship with a woman and in present times, dating is a nightmare. This is affecting my mental health because I feel lonely, like I don’t belong.
Now that I’m in a good position and improved my mental health significantly there’s none to share with it or more exactly someone that I can relate to and have same goals and ambitions than me. Is frustrating and depressing. But after finding your video I’m glad to find I’m not the only one going though this weird times.

I lived with my mom until age 29. I pictured myself being this way until my deathbed and took a chance, moved hundreds of miles away for a career. It was very very scary. But life got infinitely times better. You gotta take a chance. Get out of your comfort zone. Make the leap. It's basically the same principle with girls. You see a beautiful woman, you break through the barrier of fear and go for it even if you fail over and over. I'm realizing that guys like Denmo keep going no matter what until they achieve their goals, or get the women they really want in life. Only weak men give up.

As a 41 year old business owner. I've learned that the best motivation is to take on the burden of responsibility, like JP says. I'm currently running my national remodeling company, remodeling a rental property and building 2 high performance houses. Having purpose is very important to progress forward. Staying out of debt is another big one. The more successful that you are the more you find yourself around successful people. I rarely even see people that I grew up with. That's totally okay. The hardest challenge in business is not just starting it and running it but actually scaling it. I didn't realize this until I was 30. Once you learn to scale the real money starts with real responsibilities. It's more of a cashflow management game at that point. I would recommend anyone who has a business needs to know accounting. I did a 2 years associates when I was 23. I hate accounting but it necessary to know numbers and to stay away from debt particularly bad debt.

I know many great people had their breaks in 30s or 40s and travelled the world later on, but it's so hard keeping up with people who have families that support them and are in their 20s or same age as you or or maybe 20 yo, you are starting from scrap, they are not, they have safety nets you dont.

All I had was some modest money to start with (hard saved earlier) and a room to stay, no connections, no family, not even a bank account. It took me just over 7 years of grind, moving to a different places in a foreign country, changing jobs, looking for something I can hold on to, make a foundation on, make a decent living and simply enjoy. Now here I stand at the age of 35, first time in my life I can say I am on the right tracks, work paid off, peace of mind found, work-life balance getting better each day. Never ever give up, because you never know how close to your goal you are. Never regret or envy, if anything - aspire, admire, improve. I had some injuries from improper lifting(herniated disc/sciatica) and at one point I was kinda addicted to preworkout(now 1 or 2 x a week.) But just doing the task I wanted to get better at made me internally process all the anxieties I made up about it. I look healthy now and feel better mental health/depression wise. From a business perspective, I love how you upsell the course in this video. And the pricing + FAQ to position it in the right market "Potential high value men" - basically men with the means to pay the course (+monthly fee).
I can't imagine the MRR you have right now.
I hope I can find a market like this elsewhere!

This has been me in 2023 as a 23 year old man. Hopeless, lonely, feeling that I’m gonna be stuck in retail and remain a virgin that will never get a girlfriend.

I’m 28, paid off all my student loans, bought my own car, and moved out of my parents’ place to my own spot all within the last year. Have money saved and a 401k in progress from work. Got a promotion at a (mostly remote) job that I really like and my band (I sing and play guitar) is slowly growing from local to regional size. Also go to the gym or go for runs almost every day and am built. My problem is taking the time to get out of the house by myself. I’m 10 mins closer to all of my closest friends upon moving out but most of my friends are in relationships and don’t go out unless it’s planned way in advanced and a lot of people go or spend most of their time home from long workdays tired and playing video games. This video came up in my feed at a good time. Made a few efforts over the past few days to just spend time out in public but gotta keep that up cuz there’s definitely been a lot of nights in the past couple months where I feel isolated and alone in my apartment.

You need to set some goals keep busy bro gym diets hobbies dancing all that stuff go get passionate about something hobby and keep it up, girls will land in ur lap if you do that I promise u. Girls love a guy who has a routine in life it means u got your shit together and they can’t resist that shit. Stable energy is very real.

Reason 4 is flawed, you can have both a successful life and a girlfriend. In fact, married people tend to be more successful if that’s really your main goal in life. But you bash on people who fall in love and make sacrifices for that person, but really those people will find more fulfillment in life.

If you’re giving up your aspirations for a modern woman, there’s a 99% chance you’re going to end up regretting it. I’m not exaggerating when I say I would bet thousands of dollars that it would be better to focus on yourself.
You CAN have a girlfriend, you CAN care about her deeply, you CAN make sacrifices for her, but most of us can speak from experience when saying that it is a TERRIBLE feeling to choose a woman over other life goals and aspirations, just for it to not work out.

Many people go to school to feel like they are accomplishing something but upon graduating and finding a job, reality kicks in. It is right there and then when you will know if you are really being productive in life or not. Many switch careers later in life because they most likely messed up the first time around and now they are doing it right. A classical victim of seeking validation during youth or low self esteem/insecurity.

When you see them wholeheartedly engaging in business, relationships and the like, you kinda feel like doing that to your own life. Because a normal person has an idea of what it it is needed to achieve these, but seeing these things unfolding succesfully in close ones is a further push.

Once you've found a person both of you have to make goals together or else there's no direction in either of your lives. The relationship will become stale and infidelity is likely to occur. And/or other issues like lack of trust in the relationship, or just a general end of the partnership. In 2023 i based a lot of my effort on finding a woman. She's here now and now it's time for me to figure out what to do outside of my romantic life. I am going to see if i can start working towards financial independence again come 2024.
