I'm a very huge u2 fan, really, but I must say that he's doing it quite well.
But what's best about this performance is that Chris leaves edge his passages, like the end passage which is the best part of the whole song in which normally Bono have been told the audience a whole sonnet
I guess it's the only thing that f*cks up at a u2 concert

Ah, well I am a singer'and this song is special. You have to prepare it somehow. The point is to sing the beginnig with a deep, straight forward voice, maybe brittle, but not too much.... and then you make a smooth fade to more power and output for 100%.
