This is my favorite BOTW run, it perfectly captures that feel of seeing speed rubbers destroy video games but taking out the hardest enemies in the game like their are nothing! We have to get this runner AND this run into the next GDQ!

Other BotW content creators like PointCrow, while very good, aren't as consistent. Dude literally gets every Windbomb first try, manipulating them to go exactly where he wants. On the off chance I actually pull off a Windbomb it is never nearly as precise

You are incredible! The video that really got me interested in games, and I have no idea why it showed up in my suggestions 4 years ago, was your 1st BOTW speedrun. It blew me away. It took me until this past year to get a switch and just in the last couple of months start playing the game, so now I appreciate even more how incredible all these things you are somehow doing are. And you make it look easy...the 1st lynel in east akkala, the one you beat next to last, killed me twice before I killed him and you took him down in seconds with no armor, lol. Skill and experience...

I don't know if you have one already, but I'd recommend a pro controller. I've never had or heard of pro controllers having any issues with stick drifting. Very informative video by the way. Always great to see someone be so knowledgeable and comment on their own run.
@@becky6505 Lol maybe? Even though I've never heard of a pro controller drifting, I wouldn't be surprised if one drifted on you. But all three?! Are you sure they were Nintendo official pro controllers? There are lots of off brands that look like the original. Price isn't everything, but usually anything less than $60 is an indicator that they're not original.
@@kik0le two of them are original for sure, but the third one may have been fake? Maybe i just got really unlucky or haven't been treating them well enough haha In the end i don't really mind buying a new official pro controller because they come in so many cute designs
@@becky6505 The only ones I've had experience with is the Smash Ultimate pro controller and the plain black ones; neither have given me problems. If you ever need a new one, I'd recommend just getting a plain black one and testing it out. Sounds a bit silly but maybe they go through more thorough quality control.
I hope you got through it. I defeated 2 red lynels after avoiding them for a week. I haven’t seen any of the red’s once. It’s been white and silver and some blues.
Im new to the game and was able to comfortably fight lynel for 3 to 4 minutes using sword shield and stasis. Not very fast. But because of this run, i learned how to cheese lynels and finish them in 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Thanks a lot man.
I know it would take quite a while to work on, but I've been trying to learn the basic any% route that you did your tutorial series on, and I've noticed that quite a bit of it is outdated, such as the bomb shrine having the possibility to be completely skipped using a windbomb. That, along with many other things such as Hyrule Castle having an almost completely different route thanks to windbombs and skipping Windblight, I've found it to be pretty difficult to learn the older route and then apply newer techniques and changing the route on my own. So, if it wouldn't take too much time, would you consider making 1 or 2 addendum videos to detail the changes, minor or major, to help guide people like me who know some newer techniques (like bil's) and apply them to the older route?

This is such a refreshing run to watch, the great plateau switch up is super entertaining, esp watching and running any% routing for GP can get super bland
So how exactly do you do the wind bomb? Do you need to set down a cube bomb before placing the sphere bomb everytime or is that just to help with the super wind bomb?
Killing those three Hebra Lynels in the Cerberus split was basically a ritual I went through every time there was a blood moon. Too much good stuff to pass up.
Dude this is awesome!! I started to do shield skus. Never been good at any game...but i was able to do the shield sku thanks to your videos. thanks a lot. It has added many more hours to my BOTW play time!!
I got confident with the lynel fighting until I fought a silver lynel at the coliseum. Luckily I flew in from the top and was able to dispatch all the enemies in the area. But then I tried to do some damage to him before directly confronting him and as soon as he noticed me, he’d shoot arrows into the air and I thought I was safe but the arrows apparently shoot through the overheads to get to you.
... go play resident evil on ps1 or any zelda from the nes or snes era. These games are nothing in comparison when it comes to difficulty. Those games were brutally unforgiving. This game basically holds your hand with the area markers and what not. Though the skill ceiling is way higher nowadays too, so there is that.

He has a pro controller now! Although the joycon drifting is joycon only, there’s a problem with the d-pad that can ruin the entire run.
My joy cons have never drifted before but all three of my pro controllers drifted almost immediately. have i been buying the wrong pro controllers??
