Reasons Why I Like Spot And Tango’s Supplements
    Three Formulations
I like having ample options. So I was pleased to see that Spot and Tango offer three different formulations within their supplement range. Spot and Tango offer Allergy & Immune, Calming and Hip & Joint. These are three potential health issues that Spot and Tango address. If you’re a long-term Life With Klee Kai subscriber, you’ll know that Copper and Skye have struggled with separation anxiety. So I liked having an Calming supplement to try. It’s common to find a Hip & Joint supplement. But I was impressed to see an Allergy & Immune supplement. This is something I haven’t commonly seen. Copper struggles with allergies in the form of reverse sneezing. I was pleased to see an Allergy & Immune supplement. This is a formulation that I haven’t commonly seen - at least not aamong the supplements that I’ve previously reviewed. So that’s a big plus!
    Recognisable ingredients
If you watched my Spot and Tango fresh dog food review, you’ll know that I like how the brand uses clear and transparent labeling. Reading the packaging on Spot and Tango’s containers, it’s clear to see the main ingredients in their formulations. I’m passionate about finding ingredients that can promote calm within me. So I immediately recognized Passionflower, Ashwaganha, and Chamomile as ingredients associated with promoting calm, which is often found in human supplements. There’s also L-Theanine which is another popular ingredient in calming supplements. Whether you go for Allergy & Immune, Calming, or Hip & Joint, you’ll find ingredients you know and recognise. The clear labeling allows pet owners to examine each ingredient clearly. The brand don’t try to hide mystery ingredients by using confusing labeling. I appreciate this!
    No Artificial Ingredients
Spot and Tango don’t use artificial ingredients in their fresh dog food or UnKibble recipes. Continuing with the natural theme, you won’t find any artificial ingredients in their supplements either. Spot and Tango explain on their website that their supplement range is vet-developed. It gave me confidence giving their supplements to Copper and Skye knowing that they’re eating supplements formulated by experts and free from any nasties.
    Chewable
If you’ve tried a supplement regime with your dog in the past, like me, you may associate supplements with a capsule or powder. In my experience, these can be difficult to feed to your dog. Skye is a fussy eater and would refuse to eat a capsule. Even if I covered the capsule in peanut butter or cream cheese, she’d lick off the peanut butter or cheese and leave the pill. While she occasionally ate a powdered supplement, she would sometimes leave her food if I used a mix-in supplement. I loved that Spot and Tango’s supplement comes in a chewable form. It was much easier to convince Skye and Copper to eat, leading me to my next point.
    Treat-like texture
If you’re worried about your dog refusing to eat Spot and Tango’s supplement, it has a treat-like texture and a treat-like flavor. This is useful for pet owners with a fussy pup like me. Copper is food-motivated for the most part. But Skye can be fussy. The treat-like texture made Skye more inclined to try the supplements. Not only do Spot and Tango’s supplements have a treat-like texture, but they’ve got a treat-like flavor too. The Hip & Joint supplement is flavored to taste like peanut butter and banana. The Allergy & Immune supplement has strawberry and blueberry flavor. The Calming has a pineapple flavor. I wasn’t sure how the pineapple flavor would fare with my Klee Kai but let’s discuss that in my next point.
    Picky Eater Approved
So at this stage, you’re likely wondering how did Copper and Skye like the supplements? To my delight, my Klee Kai enjoyed all three formulations. The treat-like flavor and treat-like texture proved a big hit and I didn’t have any issues getting Skye to take her daily supplement. I typically gave their calming supplement in the morning and their allergy & immune supplement in the evening. Copper and Skye followed me to the kitchen in the morning and the evening, quickly identifying the time of day as supplement time. I’ve never experienced this phenomenon when giving supplements in the past. So I can say these were picky eater-approved!

I currently feed Spot & Tango and was thinking about giving them the supplements. This is very informative. Thanks for the research!
