I love that you keep the "outtakes", like when you can't reach the bottom to get the seeds. It makes it super relatable and I love the humor. I've been rewatching your videos from your BA days, and I'm going to buy your books. Please keep up the work, I love the content.
Farmers and food suppliers are very underrated. They are the people that keep us fed so good work from Jon and people like him. As a side note, Claire's skin is so nice and pretty. Like royalty.
I am getting such a good Anthony Bourdain vibe from this, and I love Claire for that. This is just amazing... I hope and wish there are more of these to come! ♡
It is very "it's alive going places" like. Love it, always fun to see the difference between golden retriever Brad (said lovingly not in a disparaging way) and the calmer more put together energy of Claire.
Glad I wasn't the only one thinking this. Definitely very "It's Alive" vibes. Makes me wish we'd get to see Brad and Claire work together in a video agaon.
I grew up in the PNW, and absolutely love oysters. It's interesting to see how different oyster farming in Masss, and how much smaller the oysters are when considered ready-to-sell. I'm sure that the quality and flavor are amazing though. I'm absolutely thrilled that the same commitment to sustainability exists on both coasts.
omg im screaming when i see the title! so excited for more videos out of the kitchen like this! thank you to whoever took the scenery footages (probably vinny) because it look amazing!
Since you're already eastward, ferry over to Newfoundland! Lots of fun food options, music, culture and scenery. Definitely make for a great video or series.
Absolutely on point, it's not summer unless you have seafood. Cape Cod intrigues me so much, I would love to visit, try some of the sea based cuisine. I want to see Claire visit Maryland soon, get a look at our blue crabs, maybe take a spin on a crab cake. (It has cake in the name, it has to scratch that baker's itch.)
I am so exited for this series. Would love to see you go to more farms and talk to more farmers in Cali, Washington, Alaska, Italy, honestly wherever. I would die for Claire Saffitz from the Dessert Person test kitchen
This was such a fun, interesting episode! I'm excited to see where this series goes, literally and figuratively! Would definitely love to see more farm visits -- maybe Colorado for Palisade peaches or Rocky Ford melons??
As someone from the Cape it’s so exciting to see this as the first location in a brand new series!! Patiently waiting til we cross paths on one of your visits haha
I haven’t even watched this yet and I am already excited for this series. At my house we talk about Claire as if she is a close friend sharing her recipes with us. I’m so excited for outside of the kitchen! ❤
This is so fun! I've been watching for years now and it's so fun to see a change in scenery. Also, not a morning person That pitcher that has the coffee hit me right in my childhood. That was my go-to koolaid container! Blue and yellow lid. Wish my mom still had it lol Anyway, so excited to see more!
Claire, I’ve long been fascinated with Jewish culinary culture. I’d really enjoy a series that highlights your family’s heritage, and perhaps any culinary history around food styles and traditions.
Wow this was so great!!! My friend hosts an 'Oysterpalooza' every year, in September.. so glad to know the oysters will be at optimal yumminess!!! I hope you do more of this 'out of the kitchen' !!!!! Thanks so much!
Ooo Claire that was a great piece. You should try some Apalachicola oysters if you ever come to Florida . They are HUGE. Also, PNW have great oysters also from the Puget Sound. And, Chesapeake Bay. are also abundant. And they all taste different from one another. Cheers.
Personally, I think oysters are so gross but it was fascinating to learn how they are grown. Love seeing the care that goes into them. (And Spud IS a very good cat!)
Awesome fun Claire! This is an exciting development. Love seeing you baking, but this is so fun too. Be wonderful to see a small dairy farm, or somewhere that makes cheese (goat?). Love to learn.
I love this type of video! It kind of reminds me of how Vice Munchies used to be. Although Matty Matheson is still on Munchies. Great job with the style of video Claire and the camera crew and the editing team.
Oh Claire, do more of these Out of The Kitchen videos. I loved this one so much because I live near the ocean in the northeast, and because I loved the videos done from your parents home during your time at BA. That early Thanksgiving dinner with the old BA gang! And since you love farmers and Fall is here, maybe a focus on maple syrup harvesting from Vermont or thereabouts. Honey & bees. Bar Harbor & sustainable lobster harvesting? Apple harvest & when are they best since many are stored long term. I know, I’ll stop. But great video.
I'm so curious about the iced coffee! Looks like they're cold brew bags maybe? Can I ask what you've been using? I'm always on the lookout for new coffee 😊
We're excited to get Out of The Kitchen and connect with new friends and businesses. Where should we go for the next episode?
Ireland for kerrygold butter! 🙌🏼 😆
I'm still holding out hope for the "Claire and Sohla see how they make vanilla in Madagascar" trip, but I know that's a pipe dream
Cranberry farm!
That's so fun I'm from Hyannis MA! Would've been awesome if I saw you out and about!!
Also, come visit tx for steak!
Woah! New series?? This is going to be fun! Imagine if Claire eventually goes International?
Australian indigenous foods!
Collab with Sonny!!@@IHeartGallery
Who is that?
Perhaps she can go to a vanilla farm 😁
Gotta keep supporting if we wanna see international😅😅

We love Sauci!!

I am getting such a good Anthony Bourdain vibe from this, and I love Claire for that. This is just amazing... I hope and wish there are more of these to come! ♡
Agreed. The best kind of food content is the kind where you get to see all the people involved.

Jon was so chill! Loved listening to him teach about oysters and the sustainability of the harbor. Great series Claire!
A: 100% Yes to Claire out of the kitchen. B: As a Boston resident it, fills me with joy that Claire was even in the same state.

Claire this is awesome 👍... Love learning about what's behind the process of providing the delicious food we eat! Good idea...thanks!
Brad could legitimately walk into frame at any moment 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yeah, this video's style gave me such a sense of deja vu.

I hope this series will bring all the love to farmers and help people understand the amazing and thankless job all farmers do to keep us all alive.

And blue catfish. They are doing a job on crabs and other critters.
