  • #FallOfThePride Part 2:
After the first few years of implementing Project Mawingu, Kenya Airways hit turbulence in the form of shrinking profits. Titus Naikuni for whom Project Mawingu was his flagship project, would resign one month before his retirement date paving the way for Mbuvi Ngunze who was at the time the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

When all of a sudden the current CEO who was speaking very clearly starts mincing his words after being asked the contract’s contents question, which he has supposedly not gone over, the picture on competence, ethics, and genuinety which he’s trying so much to paint goes to the trash. It’s shocking how Kenyans easily let go off their integrity to corruption. It’s a worrying trend. May God’s wrath not spare one of them.

John Magufuli upon being elected as President of the republic of Tanzania, he made impromptu visits to every government institution from finance to education to airports to ports to hospitals etc. Having been in the previous governments serving in the capacity of a minister, he new all the monkey tricks happening in all these institutions but waited for the right time if God would grant him the opportunity to serve as president and purge the ills from the system and indeed it came to pass. Now see how Tanzania is dazzling with beauty courtesy of honourable Magufuli. He has been catching the big hawks of corruption by their necks thereby frustrating their wicked practices in the corridors of government institutions. Now in Tanzania, it's about service to the motherland and her children not selfishly serving once stomach at the expense of the growth of the Nation. IT CAN BE DONE IF WE DELIBERATELY MAKE A CHOICE.

Hopefully our government will learn from your mistakes. Frankly, I'm saddened by the fact that Kenya has not learned from South Africa's past. @@Aalliiiq We need the tourists, but the way we are managing our airlines makes us less attractive to these tourists than the competition. A small group of people stole money while hundreds lost their jobs, but no one wants to point out the other, or to take responsibility. The company is making losses year on year. Service quality is compromised. You can even tell from complaints on KQs social media, their image currently probably isn't the best and if what Rupert is saying is anything to go by, it doesn't seem like nationalising it might do much to overturn its fortunes. The CEO say that they are focused to sacking about 300 staff due to cost cutting.if he want to address the issue of cost cutting then why cant he first remove all the idling managers in the company,we understand that in kenya airways the wage bill is high because of duplication of roles which is meant to benefit managers and the CEO is aware ,the managers are many compared to the number of employees ,this managers are corrupt and have meant KQ to be in this situation.let him sack them first .
he has said that the company had predicted to burn half a million dollars last year ,this is not applicable because this is very little meaning kilavuka is not aware and realistic on the world of aviation and the last year situation,he should have talked about 500,000,000 shillings and not 50,000,000 million to look real.
He has admitted having received money from the government and it is well known that this money was meant to cater operational costs, ideally the government had given that money to pay staff salary arrears but the CEO has refused with the money.
Why is it that the CEO answers is full of we dont think, all the time?,
this man say that KQ Will come back to business in the year 2023,dont you see a falling company ?

Swiss Air went into bankruptcy after implementing a McKinsey strategy. Advocating for side-pockets and off-balance sheet accounting in Enron, it became known as 'the firm that built Enron'. Aiding the Guptas in state capture in South Africa. It advised British rail company Railtrack to, 'reduce spending on infrastructure' leading to a number of fatal accidents and the subsequent collapse of Railtrack.
