Great video. I am waiting for my EV to be delivered, but would like to do a road trip from London, through Europe. I also want to do a road trip in Canada in 2025, where I would rent a car - hopefully an EV if the infrastructure is good enough - I am talking about Toronto to Quebec City with a couple of places in between - I would have thought the infrastructure is there, but obviously I could be very wrong!

@@MrSammotube toronto to quebec city is an easy drive with an EV infrastructure is good. Its even better in Quebec. Quebec has some of the best EV infrastructure in North America

@@simplygregsterev That is good to know, thanks! Will make sure to hire an EV for that trip - there is a train journey covering the same, but I feel like doing it on the road so we can stop whenever we want.

Great video as always, thanks a lot for sharing your experiences! No shelter in these new Ionity stations, quite a disappointment..... Most things being more expensive in Switzerland wouldn't you have gotten better rate renting your car on the French side of Geneva airport?

Ive rented on the French side before. Not a great selection and cars don’t have the vignette for swiss highways

Indeed if they do not provide the Swiss vignette that's an issue as it is difficult to reach them without riding one! And you're right that the choice of vehicle in Switzerland is really wide (only airports in France would match that level of choice)! Hope you are enjoying Lyon, my hometown! Again thanks for the great videos I am a fan, the content is great to watch and always useful for an EV user.
