- Middle America - Ripping the Fields - Two Agco Challenger MT975B Tractors pulling Sunflower Rippers
In this video I am out in the field with a farm that is running their two Challenger MT975B Articulated 4WD Tractors pulling Sunflower 4610 disk rippers,
*The image of harvesting machines on a large, soft piece of land is really pleasing, it feels very pleasing to the eye*
Awesome twin setup, the Challengers pull like a freight train and the rippers are doing a good job of mixing and turning over the trash/refuse ! I like the ripper with the baskets better as it seems like they smooth out the field better than the rakes do - JMO. Great Video - Thanks Mike! I hope that everyone here had a great Thanksgiving ! 🦃
I've always liked the 9000 series of Challengers. Great tractors. They look good as well!! Great video Mike 👍🏻.
Really enjoyed the video sir.
In the first field the ripper is making that big tractor work. You really can see the difference in the ground from the first field to the second one.
It's always nice to see a wheeled challenger at work👍😁 I think the yellow tractors are underrated😉👍
That’s a bid dog for sure. Turns impressively sharp!
Good production. Greetings from Dundalk, Ireland
One of my Favorite Farms to Watch. These Tractors are Awesome. I have watched these Guys alot over the yrs.1 of my Favorite 4x4s.
Great video Mike, those guys can really cover the ground.
By far one of the best sounding tractors there is, fort love a purring turbo kitty
Excellent video! Nice to see a farm that understands the need for deep tillage!
Couple nice looking tractors. Thanks Mike.
Always did Love the look of the CHALLENGER 4 Wheelers 👍
No challenge for the Challenger! 😉
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
Great Great video Mike
I like Mike less videos on RUclips from the imperial county California 👍👍🇺🇲 🚜🚜🚜🌽😁
I instantly got the reference....lol classic movie
Amazing video
Massive Challenger! 🤯☺️👏👍
Awesome find!
That cultivator looks like it pulls hard and that Challenger looks like it wasn’t phased one bit. Great video!
That is a nice set of kitty cats!
You should comeup to gonvick/clearbrook MN. we got some big stuff up here if you go a little ways near the flatter areas
Great video Mike👍
In my hometown there is no such modern machinery. We do it manually. But I really love this job. Thank you for sharing.
Good video.
I was watching one of those pull scraper pans, i dont think it had a cat in. Sounded like a v12 but man the mts tractors were struggling to keep pace with it
My favorite type of ag video. Nice to see these big Challenger tractors in one. Mike, are the tires on that Sunflower ripper solid or foam filled type It's sure odd looking at how they stick so far out past the rim bead area on that first one in particular.
She drives pretty nice, but first gear is a little tricky.
Lol, Just what Crawl was saying on Son In Law.
@@farmhandmike That’s right, when he jumped out of that Massey combine. Thanks for the great videos Mike. I enjoy them every time.
@@NBallatore Thanks, We watch Son in Law every year the night before Thanksgiving.
Does agco still own challenger?
I think the Challenger brand just went away and everything is now branded Fendt or Massey.
@@farmhandmike ok yeah I didn’t know.
AGCO still has the rights to the Challenger name, but as far as anything else Challenger is basically a dead brand.
@@Zero01k ok thanks for the info
Hello everyone mike less this tractor version v12 other no
He ain’t exactly going straight, no gps I guess?
Not everyone has that much money.
Does AGCO still produce articulated tractors, and the MF legacy of articulated tractors come to an end?
AGCO and 4wd articulated 4wd tractors are like oil and water, they don't get along real well. The Agcostar has been dead for some time and the MT900 series tractors died when Challenger died as a brand, don't expect AGCO to do well in the articulated 4wd tractor market. They are lucky they have what they got to be honest.
@@Zero01k Not so sure on that. I hope to see a Fendt in the Future. Time will tell if they come out with one with the Man Diesel in it. Makes no sense to have Tracks & not wheeled.
With how AGCO abandons articulated 4wd tractor lines, do you really think people would fall for the same trick thrice? AGCO's track record so far doesn't speak volumes for itself, look at the corpses in it's wake.
@@Zero01k it's been the same tractor line, renamed multiple times. Massey Ferguson, McConnel Mark, Agcostar, Challenger. But I think the Challenger name is the last one... I don't know what their market share was.
@@Zero01k I guess it is how you want to look at it. If a Fendt 4x4 comes to light it might Surprise you. Anything AGCO Makes doesnt last as long as it should. They need 1 Product line & they might have more Success. To me i dont care how many names they have ,they at least have something to sell that is not green & yellow & overrated buying just the name.
They took a good North American developed Tractor and Ruined it same with Steiger Case IH now i have to buy a Big Bud or just stick to John Deere
