That’s correct Khmer style hat has no V shape hats . Khmer people wear krama made of 100% cotton to keep the sweat away during harsh labor under the harsh heat condition. Khmer wears krama that they embed as a hat or Krama across their neck to keep the body temp. Cooling. Khmer wear krama during work labor or farming or activities to keep the sweat away. Also another traditional cultural wearing it’s called SBAIH it’s worn during a special ceremonies or wedding occasions it’s a tiny material that Khmer women wear across their chest as a ornament or to cover their body to show modesty in their attires . Love Cambodia cultures .

Thanks for the comments. If you dig deeper into the Khmer Empire, you'll discover that the hats that that people wore during that time were universal within Khmer empire. Moreover, there were a mixture of people recruited from the vast empire included were Khmers, Chams, Vietnamese, Laos, Burmese...and many more.

This article is about to show the interesting facts about Cambodia.
    Ankor wat
Facing to the west, because our ancestors built this monument for the future even, when the second sun comes ,the west will become to be the east , and a very even will happen in Cambodia. You know a richest country in the last day ,that your Bible says
An island in the east and the island in the west, where ?
It's Cambodia , not Philippines. Our ancestors still alive, they are preparing for a time comes, they do meditation and live in a deep inside of mountains. Sorry i forgot how English called it. (Kanal)
We are Khmer but the word khmer was written in complex style ,was read as khem mac rac not khmer. When Thai occupied Cambodia they read this word as khmen(r) not in the complex style, in normal style, so the word khmer was born , so we have to names khmer and Khem mac rac.
Khmer had the killing field because of Vietnamese they pretending to be khmer, impostor like Pol Pot , even Hun Sen , too.
Now Hun Sen is pushing khmer to very danger of nuclear by giving land to China, our ancestors, too predicted that...

Khmer empire never existed. Angkor Wat or Pra Nakorn is indian culture and originally owned by Varman dynasty, a Thai group from Pimai, Nakornrajsima, Thailand. The Khmers originally were captured as slaves employing to move the big stones to build Angkor Wat. Later, the Khmer slaves betrayed and killed their masters, Thai Varman dynasty. The Thais in Angkor Wat moved to Ayutthaya, now the central of Thailand, to join Thais from Dvaravati and establish a new kingdom, Pra Nakorn Sri Ayutthaya, and attacked the Khmers in just 13 years. After that the Khmers became a colony of Thais for 400 years until the France came.

Centered at Phimai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, by the Suryavarman dynasty kings of Tamil Nadu descent. From southern India + Thai Siam
Suriyaworaman7 was born at Prakhon Chai, Buriram Province.
All stone temples began to be built from the upper reaches of the earth. to the lowlands
There is a prototype from Phimai.
Designed according to Hindu beliefs by a Brahmin from India who was an architect and engineer.
Using Khmer slave labor brought from Java, Indonesia.
All civilizations seen are Indian civilizations. Nothing about Khmer people at all. Besides being a construction worker

If those to whom you are directing that intent to does not have the karma to received it, that intent will inevitably be returned to the original sender... many folds.
