      @@Travis.Rivera You can also use non latex or nitrile disposable surgical gloves,you should also soak your hands in epsom salt 3x a day,after the soak rub with Vaseline and wear the gloves especially at bed time...

      I like the way my hands look. But I hate the way they feel. So incredibly dry, I clench my first and I feel each and every crevice on my knuckles. I like getting a scab on your elbow and bending your elbow.
      No amount of moisturising has helped. It's mainly from work too, when I don't work my hands are still dry but they aren't that bad. After a day of work thought they are horrifying

      Soak your hands in epsom salt 3x a day after each soak rub Vaseline on your hands and wear the gloves as long as possible,non latex or nitrile gloves work also especially at bedtime and you should see an improvement..Using fragrance free products are also a big help,not unscented but FRAGRANCE FREE....

    So when I was like 4 I loved playing with soap like slime cause I really wanted slime but what I didn’t know is that slime dries and irritates skin causing it to crack. I was 4 so. I’m not sure how I was supposed to know this. But I kept washing my hands cause the cold water felt nice on my skin BUT APPARENTLY WATER ALSO DRIES OUT SKIN IF YOUR SKIN IS ALREADY DRY was what my mom told me so my hands looked like little gremlin hands . 6 years later in around third grade my friends always made fun of my hands because they where cracked, ugly, and dry and their hands where like baby skin. But one thing that I noticed was something my friends didn’t have . It was my grandmas hands even though my hands were dry she made the best out of hers because her and were beautiful she had these gorgeous long thin fingers that she have to me. And my grandma loved growing her nails and so did i but I only realized this similarity after she died, well not really. You see my mom uncle and aunt were VERY AND I MEAN VERY SAD of-course because she was their mother but after looking at my hands they really noticed not a single bit of my mom or my dad were on my hands it was just my grandma. so all I’m here to say don’t try to change your body because of beauty standards or people judging you be yourself and let your true for shine. But of course you should if it’s getting to a bad point like for example when your hands start bleeding of dryness. BUT ALSO ALL OF THE HAND CARE THINGS DIDNT WORK MY HANDS STILL LOOK LIKE GREMLIN HANDS… well I guess some of them kinda worked. So I guess pretty gremlin hands❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
    Thank you pls like cuz dis took long because of my ✨DRY HAND JOURNEY ✨ so pls just give me a 👍 oh and thanks if you had the time and patience to read my journey ❤❤❤❤

      Wow i am in a situation where i am paranoid so I keep washing my hands constantly, including using sm bodywash in the shower. Its made my hands dry and is prolly pretty bad for my body. Currently scared of getting skin cancer.. or diseases since my skin on both my hands started shedding off today, and there is like skin missing wounds later on in the day on one of my arms. Thanks for sharing your story and I am sorry that your friends made fun of your hands. Hope ur hands contiune to improve and you have beautiful hands in the future! I think the key is to be consistent. Drink more water too and try to use very little soap everytime u wash ur hands/ less soap when showering. U got dis hope more ppl see your comment

    A slight modification. I add glycerine to the warm water and put on lotion before applying Vaseline. Works like a charm. On feet, I'd prefer urea over Vaseline though.

    • @DesmondNwan
      @DesmondNwan Месяц назад

      Urea?

    • @Jo7submitted2christ
      @Jo7submitted2christ Месяц назад

      @@DesmondNwan Urea is normally already found in tiny amounts on your skin as part of your natural moisturising factor (NMF). It helps break down protein on upper layers of skin, thereby reducing flaky and dry skin. It softens skin and also helps other products penetrate well. I used it on the feet after bath everyday when I had hard soles. After that was cured, only once a week is enough. I just use lotion at other times.

      You need to see a dermatologist,but in the meantime soak your hands in epsom salt for 15 minutes 3x a day,rub Vaseline on your hands and wear the gloves,you should see an improvement,the epsom salt will burn for a few seconds but it will really help,make the water as hot as you can stand it,non latex or nitrile gloves also work....
