    Good video thanks. Is it normal for there to be some play side to side with the front wheel after the caliper has been mounted? Cheers.

    hey i got a new caliper setup for my 50cc, and they sent it to me with the pads out of the calipers. they didnt give instructions either, and i cant figure for the life of me how the pads are suppossed to fit in. i slide the pad in and they dont clip or anything its just getting sprung back out. i think i might have bent one of the clips to much too. are you supposed to get those little nubs of metal on the pads behind the lip of the clip or in front of them

    When compressing the calliper, put a cloth around the brake lever reservoirs, otherwise you will push the brake fluid back up and overflow! Or simply bleed some out with proper gear so as to not get air in the system

      +AngryGamerOnPC The brakes are binding you need to check the slider pins on the caliper are free and the pads are inserted correctly

    • @Gabcsu1
      @Gabcsu1 8 лет назад +1

      pads are good , slider pins cleaned and lubricated,i changed the braeke fluid and cleaned the whole braeke system piece to piece now it is better but still not the best maybe it needs just a few km to be good.

      The pads will need to wear in about 100 miles/ 150 km should do it :)

      You probably sorted this out by now but just for the record undo bleed valve or master cylinder and then push it back.

    New parts are too expensive. I just by a new scooter every once in a while.

      Break pads cost like £12, a new scooter costs a lot more.
