For Vetiver, I really suggest getting Fine Accouterments's Green Vetiver which is a homage to the original 1956 scent that defines "old school". It's still one of my favorites, and I still have a bottle of the older EDT (which has been reformulated several times) that I use for my Vetiver shave. I love WSP's EDT, Gaelic Tweed was my first purchase and its spot on in comparison to Creed's scent as well as being able to last a good 6 to 8 hours. At a price point that is a fraction of roughly $300 Ihave paid for Creed its worth it. This is even when compared to other clones from other perfumemeries such as Armaf, Al Haramain and others.
I always value your insights and opinions, Steven! I had similar experiences with Gaelic Tweed and find the price and performance to hit that sweet spot for me. I’ve also heard that Fine Accoutrements take on Vetiver is excellent. I need to see how WSP Olympus does for an Aventus homage
@@TheShavingTulsan I haven't bought Olympus but based on my purchases of Gaelic Tweed ( Creed Green Irish Tweed) and Matterhorn (Creed Silver Mountain Water) both eerily really close to the "real thing" I'd expect Olympus to faithfully clone Aventus. The only question is whether its based on the earlier "pineapple blast" formula or the latter "smoky pineapple" formula. Gotta ask Mel.
A little bit, but it doesn’t drive me nuts like it does for everyone else. Something I noticed, and you can catch it in the video, is that when the container is wet on the counter it slides around which a little annoying. They do dent easily, so if I had a preference I would say plastic containers are the way to go. It wouldn’t stop me from buying though
@@TheShavingTulsan I agree. I don't think it's necessarily a deal-breaker, but I think the majority prefer plastic containers and I personally do like plastic for the rigidity aspect.
Excellent review as always Tim!
Thanks for the support as always brother!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
Awesome review Tim! I had a feeling you would like these two soaps!
Loved them!!

WSP has some killer scents. But, does the metal containers detract you at all?

I'm sorry Tim, but the background music meant I couldn't watch this one.
Sorry about that Mark! I try to mix them up once in awhile, so the next one will most likely not have any background music!
I'll keep having a look. Thanks for getting back to me. Take care.
