Outbreak event was first and last event I really loved and played non-stop. I wish they just added Outbreak into Siege rather than trying to make it into a separate game and failing miserably
good thing i started playing at y2 white noise before outbreak so i still experienced that and i agree with you even as a new player i really enjoy that event
Year 1-3 was the prime of r6 before ubishit got greedyerrrrr. Can’t wait for Ubisoft’s downfall for taking advantage of people and not listening to the community and making this a fun game instead a nerf game for years
The events are a way to test new mechanics for the base game. Since teleporting isn't possible to explain with an excuse for tecnology(even though some tecs in game are absurdly hard to explain), the next best thing was interchanging robots to finally add the mechanic to r6.
Cosmetics be damned but I honestly love when the Doktor’s Curse event is on. Yea it’s overused at this point and lazy (especially since this year they’re just reskinning the skins). But I just love the vibe and gameplay of the mode. Horror shit is my jam. Plus I want all those DC skins one day.
The shitty recolors was the nail in the coffin imo, they don't even try to make them look good for example look at the skins we got back in year 3 and now. Not only has the game downgraded gameplay wise but content wise too.
Honestly I think this just shows the lack of anything interesting about siege. The events are recycled, lack innovation, and are boring. It’s even transferred over towards the actual game. It’s just bomb game mode 24/7, 365. No night maps either, so there is no variety. Siege needs to make playlists with old maps and also bring back old features they removed. It’s ubisofts biggest money maker and they don’t realize making the game better will transfer over to more people buying the game and playing, not realizing garbage cosmetics skins
I don't understand what's wrong with reusing events because I feel like that's standard practice with a lot of games and as long as they add new content to said events feel like using offences at that bad
Nah, can’t blame Ubisoft. The gamers are responsible for supporting & giving corporations the platform to ruin games. I basically left r6 siege in 2016 because the game lacked content on the terrorist hunt side, let alone no single player. (Vegas 1 had more content technically). As for outbreak…gamers did their part for that one at least I’ll give’’em that. They even removed the explosive enemy type of terrorist hunt, like???
i first started siege when Osa came out, even then I played like 4 games, then came back when Azami came out I only really started playing siege when Brava came out, loved playing ranked during Dread Factor, but the events were still cool. since then i've been playing siege almost every month. love this game but i hate this game too.
I played outbreak first like 1 day on the free weekends, and kept doing that, played a bit of year 3, but then I bought the game and played throughout year 4 to mid year 5 then I left. I really wish I didn’t cause the game was still good back then now it’s ass lol 💀
To complete the events, what about Freeze-for-All ? Fairly new, with everyone having unique guns and abilities on a unique map. However, we had same Christmas skins and pretty much "Frozen" Archeans in the mode. How do we all feel about categorizing this event? I personally didn't like it for the challenge of getting 10k points which took 20 matches to do.
They are bringing back Doctors curse again, there will be new skins for deimos, fenrir and one more. Other than that they will be recoloring the old skins...
Rainbow is Magic was the worst-received event????? It's simply not true! Compare it to Sugar Fright which people HATED (that I personally liked the most though because I hate playing your downtime simulator and DM respawns were a blessing).
I started playing in late 2019 and honestly outside of Doctor's Curse there hasn't been any amazing events, I didn't enjoy Mute Protocol as much and everything after is just a new season of shit so yeah
I'd like to say, i genuinely think Sugar Fright is the reason of Siege's bad events. I hate the new "free-for-all or tdm" style events, it makes them terrible. What made Rainbow is Magic fun is because it was secure area, you had a life and a goal to survive. In the new Rainbow is Magic event, it was just only tdm chaos, it wasn't really fun and the tdm style made it boring. Im hoping to god that this event isn't tdm styled because if it is, then it most likely is going to be garbage.
Does anyone actually enjoy respawning in these game modes? I feel like it makes them 10 times worse. It’s the only reason I don’t play arcade game modes.
Outbreak event was first and last event I really loved and played non-stop. I wish they just added Outbreak into Siege rather than trying to make it into a separate game and failing miserably
I liked showdown a lot and the first mute protocol
good thing i started playing at y2 white noise before outbreak so i still experienced that and i agree with you even as a new player i really enjoy that event
i played outbreak on my 750ti laptop, i had 10fps and a blast:D
THAT PFP is my SCHOOL ONE
It has gotten to point where I don’t even care about the events anymore since they keep on bringing back the same once each year
Year 1-3 was the prime of r6 before ubishit got greedyerrrrr.

skopos basically just an operator made based on mute event mechanics

7:30 (fuck this mode) lol
why dont they just add outbreak for halloween again, such a missed opportunity
Now that extraction is a thing we are likely never seeing outbreak again
And no one, like LITERALLY no one plays extraction. 😂
It's really sad, because Outbreak was great@@BMP

Yeah Ubisoft loves to do siege dirty

All we need is a sick parkour or racing event with the new drone boost we got. We're getting closer to rocket league with each buff lol
Nah, can’t blame Ubisoft.

I wish the new Halloween packs (recolers) were put more effort in

That finka headgear in the thumbnail isn't from the Outbreak event. It's actually from the Mad House event.

If you hate rainbow is magic just tell me you’re a sweaty nerd that hates having fun
Facts bro bit the most recent one wasn’t as fun as just hostage. In my opinion
7:30 the guy in the chat said all we needed to know about M.U.T.E protocol game mode
Lmao

Freeze For All was the last newest event.
personally, I liked Snow Brawl, just kind of a chill snowball fight.
I want Grand Larceny to come back, it was really fun, however it won’t be quite the same since the FO-12 nerf
I started playing in late 2019 and honestly outside of Doctor's Curse there hasn't been any amazing events, I didn't enjoy Mute Protocol as much and everything after is just a new season of shit so yeah
Rainbow is magic is awesome I don’t care love content but I feel like a just fun a funny event is fine every once in a while
Tbh they should concentrate on fixing the game... ban those cheaters...
Event's aren't that important if the main game suffers...
