Great camera. I have earned over $200,000 in the past 3 years with my X-H1's. Coupled with my 10-24mm zoom or my 56mm f1.2 these X-H1's produce superb images.
I bought XH1 when the XH2 came out for cheap. I love this camera. When one of my friends saw the raw photos he bought one as well. I noticed the ebay prices have risen since people are finding out how good this little camera is.
Yeah, like clockwork, every time fujifilm announces a new camera or firmware or lens, the search for older models goes up because logically as human beings we want to understand how good the new product is compared to the older one. The search for XT3’s shot up around the time Fujifilm released the XT5 and since people kinda realised how good and still relevant the features and sensor was, the XT3’s started selling as well. By default, when you go after a bigger audience, you become a generalist and fujifilm cameras lately feel like generalist cameras. The older models (while also imperfect) just feel more targeted and just a bit more unique.
I have the XT1/XT2/XT20. I picked up the XH1 recently for the IS and love it. The ergonomics are so good and the IS is really good. Honestly, it's hard for me to go back to the XT line - they feel like weekend cameras to me now:).
You have some amazing and versatile cameras there! Yeah one thing you immediately feel with the XH1 is how robust it is, it just feels like a workhorse! Yeah there’s no going back 😅
I’m in the same position, they stolen me the x-m1 and i picked an x-t10 and now it’s time to move on. Both are excellent cameras, anyway. I don’t need all the new features, i will shot single point and spot with af-lock.
Which software do you use to edit the photos? I'm deciding which system to go mirrorless and one of my options is Fuji, but the raws appears very soft and lacking fine detail when i put them in Lightroom. In comparison Canon and Sony seems to have more fine detail.
Thank you for sharing! You definitely pulled the trigged for me, i shoot only stills for events and come from x-t10 that is a wonderful camera but a bit too much in the not professional side. Yet to choose what lenses to pick, i like primes but for paied work i think is better an all arounder. 🤙
Thank you for this video. I purchased an XH1 last week for the IBIS. I am a stills shooter and do some video clips. I have ordered the battery grip in excellent condition from MPB. Most videos about this body are five years old. The question I have is about FW updates. I understand the FW updates gave us new features and improved performance. The XH1 with the FW updates is a different animal than the body at release. Might you do a video about this? Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
Oh I’d definitely love to touch on the firmware. I’m always excited to chat about the XH1 but just wanted more content and more samples to share so soon enough, (end of Feb) I’ll share a video. I’m so stoked that the XH1 has such an awesome community!😃🙌🏾
I am using the xh1 with a 16-55mm and this thing is a beast. I shoot stills and video and honestly I would highly recommend it.will only upgrade when it breaks
Very useful review for me. I’m just looking at different Fuji model to get a view on what’s out there. I’m mostly interested in Stills, weather sealing is useful, as is a good hit with focusing, and great colour in the shots … I’m not a pro, but I am interested in quality. Thks
🙌🏾Thank you. Yeah the XH1 is still a powerhouse especially for stills. Coupled with some of Fuji’s good glass, you will love it. The IBIS is also really good for both stills and video.
Which Fuji camera do you recommend for video production? I had considered the XH1 as a viable option, but after reviewing this video, I am having second thoughts about its suitability for my needs. I would appreciate your expert opinion on this matter.
The XT3 has video features that you don’t get in the XH1 however for stills, even with a slightly lower pixel count the XH1 is still my preferred camera and I think it’s the physical handling and the IBIS that allows me to shoot with Fuji primes.
I’ve done the switch. I’ve moved from canon to Fuji 🎉 Problem is I must be as thick as a brick cause I find the Fuji system complicated to use and I find the colours lack saturation and the blacks are too dark. When I set it to shoot RAW and then go home to check out the magic, then it’s in jpeg for some reason… So the 1st couples of dates have been kinda awkward…
🥳🎉🙌🏾Welcome to the world of beautiful colours, engaging process and mild episodes of stress and frustration 😅. Fujifilm is great but it will undoubtedly take a little time to settle into it especially coming from Sony and Canon. And the colours as well, look at your LCD settings to make sure you didn’t set it up for outdoors because it will misrepresent your composition where things look properly exposed but are like half a stop under. Make sure the exposure composition dial is at 0 just until you feel comfortable playing with it. I won’t lie, Sony and Canon have unique interfaces but are also intuitive and just easier to set up shots on the go.
@@lostcreators thats for sure, I've had to reset the camera settings multiple times cause I changed something and it make weird changes and I couldnt set it back or remember what I did 😆 But at least I'm having fun during the frustrations.
Check your settings. Previous user probably upped the blacks. My X-M1 came like that, but I shot square format nature in the beginning and I was amazed. But I prefer post work and set everything to zero. And back then, I couldn't open raw! Ah, ancient history now.
I just got an xt3. It would cost me about $155 to trade it in for an xh1. Is it worth it? I’m new to photography and I’m interested in eventually videos
Not at all. Some lenses can create a double step (skip that looks like a jitter) when both are turned on but most lenses actually add even more smoothness.
I agree, there are definitely better options that have better performance and better form factor, the XH1 for is the option I would recommend to anyone who wants some of the great features in the newer cameras but at a fraction of the price. The weight is an added bonus, you get to workout while shooting 😅
Trick is a thin wrist strap. Like the ones on the pocket cameras. Cuts the weight having spread it to the wrist. Plus, you HAVE to have one. The skinny jobs don't get in your way. I use name brand ones like Canon that came out for the Power Shots.

Thank you, your opinion is useful to me when I buy a new used camera that is more up to date than my X-M1, which also still takes excellent photos.
Oh, you will be blown away then. I have both. BLOWN AWAY.

For stills the XH1 is such a workhorse and the ergonomics make it easy to handle for long hours. It’s still my main! 🙌🏾

An X-T20 is way cheaper, it has the same sensor and it's tiny.
@@perigee1275 No, the X-H1 with battery grip goes for around 700. Don't pay more.
@@perigee1275 it has no ibis, no external lcd and not the same ergonomics. If you need lightness ok.

Does it have the preset fuji retro recipes like the xt series ?
It does, it has 14 film simulations 🙌🏾
So the camera has IBIS...if the lens has IBIS will it screw it up?
